Alright ladies taking a break from fashion and beauty this morning to chat all things tidying. Homeschool started today so I’m on an organization kick right now. I’m pretty diligent about trying to keep our house tidy (at least all the common areas) because it always makes me feel better mentally and the days just go smoother if the house isn’t a disaster from the get go. I try to clean up throughout the day as we go, or wake up before the kids and do a quick sweep of the house if I didn’t get to it the night before. And then I’m always looking for quick hacks to keep things tidy without a ton of effort. Here are a few of my go-to’s for that…

I’ll be honest, a trampoline is one thing I NEVER wanted in my backyard but enter Week 3 of quarantine and herrrrre we are. I had a trampoline growing up and loved it, but here in SoCal our backyards aren’t very big. We only have a small area of grass so a trampoline was something I never thought I wanted in our backyard but have to say, it’s been our new best friend during this quarantine. I always get asked where we got ours so today I’m sharing it along with some others at all price points (…if you’re in need of a little sanity-saving as well).
Week four of quarantine and it’s safe to say we’re settling into our new norm. The kids are home from school for the rest of the year so between all four of us home and trying to homeschool, cook, work, and live somewhat normal lives, we’re relying on online services more than EVER right now. We’ve actually been using some of these services since forever but some I’ve recently subscribed to because it’s #necessary and thought I would share with you girls too. Hey babes, I know we’re all struggling in our own ways, some more than others, and we’re all trying to support each other however we can. One silver lining about this situation is how I’ve seen people stepping up to help others – and I think once we can all go about our normal lives, everyone will be little nicer to each other – I hope! While we’re social distancing and stuck inside, I wanted to offer a few ideas for those of you looking to help. Some cost money, some don’t, but I hope there’s something on this list that sounds good to you. PLEASE add any other ideas on how to help in the comments since I know I’m leaving a lot out. Alright #HBFAM how are we doing? It’s been a week of quarantine and it’s safe to say we are alllll still adjusting over here. When we first started our quarantine last week, I immediately took to the web to hunt for a few random things to keep the kids (and us) sane. Today I’ve rounded up a few items to have on hand whenever you feel your kiddos (and again, you!) are going stir crazy!
We’re officially on Week 2 of lockdown over here and I know a lot of us are struggling with everything. My kids are personally out of school for a month at least and I know it’s just a weird time for everyone. Not to mention a lot of you girls are working from home for the first time and it’s something you’re not used to. After asking you girls what you wanted to see from me during this period, I got a lot of requests for “normal content” and then always ways to help the lockdown situation – from working at home to ideas for the kiddos etc. I’ll definitely keep things pretty normal content-wise but I did want to bring you girls some of my best tips for working from home. It’s actually something I’ve done for close to a decade now so I’d like to think I have some good tips…though trying to that with the kiddos home is another story haha!

If you girls follow along with us on insta stories you probably saw that the hubby and I did a little date night in LA recently that was SO much fun. It can be a little hard to motivate him to get out of the house for a fancy dinner, but he was all-in with this date night because it involved checking out the new 2021 Cadillac Escalade (he’s alwaysss down for anything cars) and all its new features including the first-ever in-vehicle professional-grade sound system from AKG Audio. You babes are gonna love today’s post because it’s all about one of my our favorite things… wine! It’s not something I share too much on social media, mainly because I try to put the phone away when I’m in self-care mode but confession, I most definitely crave that ME time. If you’re a mama, you know it comes VERY rarely but I do try to get in some sort of self-care at least a few times a week. Lawwwrd knows we all need it! It doesn’t have to be super lavish or a pricey trip to the spa. It’s honestly just a few small things every week that you can do to help keep you sane.
