Hey babes, I know we’re all struggling in our own ways, some more than others, and we’re all trying to support each other however we can. One silver lining about this situation is how I’ve seen people stepping up to help others – and I think once we can all go about our normal lives, everyone will be little nicer to each other – I hope! While we’re social distancing and stuck inside, I wanted to offer a few ideas for those of you looking to help. Some cost money, some don’t, but I hope there’s something on this list that sounds good to you. PLEASE add any other ideas on how to help in the comments since I know I’m leaving a lot out. But this is what we’ve been doing so far…

Alright #HBFAM how are we doing? It’s been a week of quarantine and it’s safe to say we are alllll still adjusting over here. When we first started our quarantine last week, I immediately took to the web to hunt for a few random things to keep the kids (and us) sane. Today I’ve rounded up a few items to have on hand whenever you feel your kiddos (and again, you!) are going stir crazy!
We’re officially on Week 2 of lockdown over here and I know a lot of us are struggling with everything. My kids are personally out of school for a month at least and I know it’s just a weird time for everyone. Not to mention a lot of you girls are working from home for the first time and it’s something you’re not used to. After asking you girls what you wanted to see from me during this period, I got a lot of requests for “normal content” and then always ways to help the lockdown situation – from working at home to ideas for the kiddos etc. I’ll definitely keep things pretty normal content-wise but I did want to bring you girls some of my best tips for working from home. It’s actually something I’ve done for close to a decade now so I’d like to think I have some good tips…though trying to that with the kiddos home is another story haha!
Thank you AKG Audio for sponsoring this post #AKGPartner
If you girls follow along with us on insta stories you probably saw that the hubby and I did a little date night in LA recently that was SO much fun. It can be a little hard to motivate him to get out of the house for a fancy dinner, but he was all-in with this date night because it involved checking out the new 2021 Cadillac Escalade (he’s alwaysss down for anything cars) and all its new features including the first-ever in-vehicle professional-grade sound system from AKG Audio. It was such an incredible event that we felt Cadillac pulled out all the stops for. It was a whole red carpet experience and was even hosted by Spike Lee which was awesome. If you’re like us and officially entering the ‘we need a third row’ car stage, you’ll definitely want to see the pics in today’s post!
You babes are gonna love today’s post because it’s all about one of my our favorite things… wine! We tryyyy to hold out for the weekend but usually only make it till about Wednesday. 😉 Wine is usually our weeknight choice and I’ve been a forever rosé girl (listed out some fave rosés in this post) but lately I’ve been lalaloving red as well! Our go-to has been Prisoner and after asking you girls for your favorites on Insta, sounds like you love it too! Today I wanted to share a few that were mentioned multiple times on Instagram by you guys! that are on my list to try…
It’s not something I share too much on social media, mainly because I try to put the phone away when I’m in self-care mode but confession, I most definitely crave that ME time. If you’re a mama, you know it comes VERY rarely but I do try to get in some sort of self-care at least a few times a week. Lawwwrd knows we all need it! It doesn’t have to be super lavish or a pricey trip to the spa. It’s honestly just a few small things every week that you can do to help keep you sane. In today’s post i’m sharing 5 easy ways I practice self-care that don’t cost a damn thing.
I was thinking back to my goals post I did last year and how 2019 was all about delegating, getting more organized now that we were moved into our home, make more videos (finally started on that here!) and a few other things that I was pretty proud of. Obviously LOTS fell through the cracks but I will say I focused on a few specific areas and feel good about growth there. As I’m putting together my goals for 2020…yep, still workin’ on that…it got me thinking about ways for all of us to feel inspired. If you’re like me and always a million and one things running through your head at all times, it helps to literally write it all at out and tackle accordingly! I know you girls are probably already working on resolutions but if you’re in need of a little late inspo like me, I thought this post would be fun. So here are a few ways to totally kill it this year – some that I live by and some that I’m working on myself!
If you follow along with me over on insta (@andeelayne) you probably saw that the hubby and I did a much needed (kid-free!) 24 hours in Palm Springs last weekend (insert Oprah emoji with the hands up and screaming yeahhhhh!!). We recently celebrated our 11 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY (what?!) so we booked a night at my favorite place to stay when we aren’t with the kids.
This post was heavily requested over the last few months and I shared it first a few weeks ago exclusively to my #HoneybeeFam Email Subscribers. So many of you still asked for it after missing the initial email launch so i’m sharing it again here today! I typically don’t do this so be sure you are signed up for my newsletter if you want don’t want to miss out on these fun and more personalized posts!

It goes without saying that I have a bit of obsession when it comes to Halloweeeen! I love that you girls are so into it too so without further ado, here’s a (photo overload) post with how we decorated for Halloween this year!
