I’ve been promising this post for a while and was finally able to track down our home’s light fixtures for you girls! I LOVE light fixtures and feel like they are one of the most important things to consider when styling a home. They can instantly transform a room and are almost like works of art! I tend to gravitate to edgier styles with a hint of glam and always crave something different and unique that I haven’t seen a million times.
It’s been a minute since I’ve done a Honeybee Home post for you girls so have a new one for ya today! One of my most frequently asked questions is about our plants in our home. While they are real, I am definitely a serial plant killer. I have an ammmazing plant lady who comes a couple times of year to update them but it can be pricey so lately I’ve been eyeing some faux options. I came across some REALLY GOOD faux plants recently so if you’re a killer of plants like me, this post is for you!
Alright lovelies! A backyard patio tour has definitely been one of my top requested posts from you all this Summer. I shared a quick Backyard Tour video on my IGTV a couple weeks ago but wanted to follow up with a full post for you spilling on the deets on the space we’ve used the most in our new home!
If there’s been one good thing to come from Covid, it would definitely be the virtual happy hours! It’s been such a bummer not being able to see our family and friends as often as we used so we’ve been doing more face times and it’s helped a lot. I’ve been scheduling virtual happy hours with my mom and bestie on the east coast regularly and honestly don’t know why we haven’t been doing these all along. Today I’m sharing a few pieces to upgrade your next virtual happy hour (including my most frequently asked about wine glasses!)
Alright ladies taking a break from fashion and beauty this morning to chat all things tidying. Homeschool started today so I’m on an organization kick right now. I’m pretty diligent about trying to keep our house tidy (at least all the common areas) because it always makes me feel better mentally and the days just go smoother if the house isn’t a disaster from the get go. I try to clean up throughout the day as we go, or wake up before the kids and do a quick sweep of the house if I didn’t get to it the night before. And then I’m always looking for quick hacks to keep things tidy without a ton of effort. Here are a few of my go-to’s for that…
I think it’s safe to say that I’ve NEVER spent more time in the kitchen than the last 5 months. You feel me?! At this point, I’m used to it since we’re trying to limit our dining out and are trying to make most meals at home. I’ve always been a pretty healthy eater and cook a lot for myself but now that we’re all home for everyyyy meal, our kitchen has been on overdrive. If you girls are looking to restock some kitchen essentials or are curious about what holy grail items I love in ours, they’re all waiting for you in this post!
If you girls have been following the Honeybee Home series for a while now, you know my obsession with coffee tables is REAL. We have them all over our house and way too many to count but I just love them. They can be used on an actual coffee table, as art on shelves or other furniture, and they’re usually pretty affordable if you compare them to other decor. Plus, the hubby and I both love the photography in them, including all that are in our home. I took a lot of time selecting ones that really spoke to us and were all aesthetically pleasing since they’re used as decor. So here some of my favorite coffee table books you’ll find in our home…
Back with another 10 Under $100 and I’ve gotta say, this might be one of my favorites to date. You girls know I’m all for some home decor (you can see more Honeybee Home articles right here). Like my fashion style, I love mixing in budget-friendly finds with more luxury picks. When we were building and designing our house, I definitely relied on some of these items to spruce everything up and you totally can find cute stuff for under $100! Below you’ll find my bar cart, bathroom runner, and a bunch of other items I lalalove for the home!
Alright ladies this post is overdue but let’s be honest, there’s no better time than now to share how I organized our kitchen pantry! If you’re like me and in organizing mode during this lockdown period, you’ll definitely want to check out this post where I’m sharing EVERYTHING you need to organize your kitchen pantry!
If there was one thing I was dreading when we first started styling our new home, it was art. Luckily for me Minted took a lot of the guess work out of what to get because they really have the besssst selection. There were several pieces I wanted to incorporate and in our home so today i’m sharing some snaps of what we chose and my top 25 art picks alllll from Minted.
