Happy Sunday, Honeybee fam! Have a bit of everything for you girls today. We’re still heading on one cold weather trip next month so I’m shopping for a few items there and then I’m grabbing some items on sale that I know I’ll love once Spring hits. A good amount of sales are happening this week so I’ll be sure to call those out below. Hope you girls have a great rest of your weekend!
I was thinking back to my goals post I did last year and how 2019 was all about delegating, getting more organized now that we were moved into our home, make more videos (finally started on that here!) and a few other things that I was pretty proud of. Obviously LOTS fell through the cracks but I will say I focused on a few specific areas and feel good about growth there. As I’m putting together my goals for 2020…yep, still workin’ on that…it got me thinking about ways for all of us to feel inspired. If you’re like me and always a million and one things running through your head at all times, it helps to literally write it all at out and tackle accordingly! I know you girls are probably already working on resolutions but if you’re in need of a little late inspo like me, I thought this post would be fun. So here are a few ways to totally kill it this year – some that I live by and some that I’m working on myself!
Date night is a necessity around here and it’s been a minute since i’ve shared some favorites so today i’m sharing over 40 date night approved tops! My go to are bodysuits (shocker!), silk camis, off the shoulder tops and playful prints so tons of those in today’s quick round up!
It’s no secret that snake print is back in a MAJOR way right now. From boots to bags and clothing….it’s everywhere. Unlike leopard print (which I’ve always felt like not all leopard print is created equal) you really can’t mess up this print. It’s definitely a statement so I like to add it in sparingly. Today I’m sharing a look I wore with some fun new snake print boots (aka the boots my husband hates).
To be completely honest, I probably own too many jackets for a SoCal girl, but I just love them! In my defense it’s now the coldest time of year in SoCal and i’m finally able to start breaking them out so today I’m bringing you ALLLLLLL the winter jackets. Whether you live on the East Coast, West, or somewhere in between, I think there’s definitely something for everyone in today’s post!
Makeup looks are something I’m hoping to make more of a regular thing here this year for you ladies. I am no makeup artist by any means but have always loooooved doing my own makeup and experimenting with new products. I love how it instantly transforms your look and makes you feel more pulled together (because trust me, this mama of two needs some pulling together most days;). A couple weeks ago I went outside my usual subtle looks for something more playful and loved it! It was so fun and really easy so thought I would put together a crazy quick post breaking down all the beauty products I used to create this look…
Happy Sunday, babes! First off have to say a big THANK YOU to all you girls who left comments and support on my new and personal #Let’sTalk series which I promoted this week. Felt good to get on that level with you girls and I’m just crazy grateful for all of you. Another thank you for all the DMs with content ideas for 2020! Can’t wait to bring all that to you this year!! K now that I got all the emotional stuff out, let’s get to the Deals + Steals of the weekend. Don’t forget that you can sign up for my Weekly Shop My Instagram Newsletters where I break down my outfits & budget-friendly version of my daily outfits. You girls can SIGN UP HERE (just choose Shop My Instagram) for that specific newsletter.
Hellllo Friday! First I wanted to thank you girls SO much for all your amazing feedback from my insta stories yesterday (it’s still up today if you want to check them out and chime in too!). I feel like I have a pretty good idea of what my Honeybee readers like to see but the extra insight makes it so much easier when planning fun and new content for you girls in 2020!! Speaking of new content, today’s post is something I’ve been wanting to start incorporating for quite some time (literally since last Summer!) but never really knew how to kick it off and just kept putting it off. So instead of putting it off one more dayyy, I’m just going to start! Today is my first “Let’s Talk” post. These posts are more about life challenges, random Sh!t, and basically a place where you girls can chime in too. I love sharing here but can’t tell you how many times YOUR advice and recs have totally helped me too. So LET’S TALK!
We’re a couple of weeks into the new year…how you girls doing with those fitness goals?! I’ve definitely hit the ground running since we came back from our trip. Per reader requests i’m trying to bring you girls more fitness and Honeybee Health content this year and couldn’t skip my favorite picks from Amazon. I have found a TON of my budget-friendly workout gear like the options in this post! Most of these picks are under $30 like these perfect fitting camo leggings and cropped knotted top.
Combat boots…yes please! If you’re into the 90’s trend revival like me, today’s post is for youuu! As a fan of everything 90’s, I can’t stop obsessing over combat boots lately. I love that they feel somewhat masculine and tomboyish because you girls know I love mixing that in with my style. I’ve tried several pairs over the last month and I finally ended up snagging this designer investment pair . They were worth the splurge for me because I knew it was a style I’d wear non-stop this Fall, Winter, and into Spring (and then the following year as I don’t see this trend dying anytime too soon). If you’re not ready to commit to a designer pair, you’re in luck because I also found basically an identical dupe I also shared in today’s post along with several other combat boot styles!
