Hellllo July! I hope you all are enjoying your Summer so far! Summer seems to already be flying by so we’ve been busy checking away at our Summer Bucket List over here. One of our favorite things to do as a family is to cuddle up on the couch, make popcorn and watch a movie together so we kicked it up a notch with a backyard movie night. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do with the kids so cheers to Summer memories in the making!
Can you guys even believe Ava turned 7?! Ugh it truly does go in a blink and I’m so grateful for all of you girls who have been following along with us here on The Honeybee since even before she was born!! Thank you for all your sweet sweet comments you left on my Instagram post last week. I feel so truly blessed to have such loyal readers that still follow along so many years later. I shared some snaps of Ava’s 7th birthday party last week but today I wanted to share a little photo overload of what we did for her party.
Helllllo April! With Easter only a couple weeks away (and so many cute Spring picks popping up everywhere) I wanted to do a quick post with some super easy Easter Outfit ideas for the whole family! All of these pieces are perfect for celebrating Easter but they can also be mixed into your Spring/Summer wardrobe too!
I can’t believe my baby boy turned four a couple weeks ago!! It’s been a while since I’ve done a kiddo update on here so I wanted to share a Luca update today. You girls also had SO many good kid questions that came in from Instagram so today I’m tackling those as well! I tried to get to as many as possible and cover the areas that came up over and over (like sleep, eating, schedules, etc) so let’s dive right in shall we?!
If you girls have caught my previous posts with Athleta, then you know I played competitive soccer growing up and absolutely loved it! It was honestly the backbone to me leading such an active life even as an adult and I’m so grateful that I had the chance to keep with a sport for so long and that my family supported me playing. Being committed to a team, learning about my body’s capability and really learning to love being active was so important for me in feeling like a strong female which I am ALL about!
If you’re looking for last minute gift ideas for your kiddos don’t worry I’ve got you mama’s covered. Today i’m sharing what i’m getting for Ava and Luca this Valentine’s Day and pretty much everything is from Amazon and Target! (Can I get an AMEN?!) So let’s dive right in shall we?!
If there’s one thing I try to instill in Ava over and over (other than to be a good person, which she’s so freaking sweet at already), it’s how strong she is. I was always raised knowing that girls are incredibly strong and powerful and it’s something the hubby and I want Ava to be confident in. So when Athleta Girl asked us to be a part of their campaign that teaches girls their power around International Day of the Girl (which is TODAY!), we were immmmmediately on board!
I’m pretty sure I’ve shared with you girls before but I played soccer throughout my entire childhood – even competitively through high school. I played several sports growing up, but soccer has always been my main love 😉 and I can’t tell you how excited I am that Ava started playing now too!
Alright my loves, today I’m sharing all of OUR back to school favorites with you girls! I say ”ours” because gone are the days of the kids wearing whatever I decide to put them in. Do you remember when Ava used to let me dress her like a tomboy?! Now it’s pink, sparkles and anything emoji (lawwwrd help us ;))! I’ve definitely caved into letting her just dress herself (which I think is great for confidence building too) so today I’m sharing TONS of our mom and kiddo approved back-to-school favorites….
Summa’ time is in FULL swing and it isn’t officially Summer without a snow cone partyyyy! Right?! There’s just something about a snow cone station that makes everyone goes nuts. Today I’m sharing some snaps of Ava and Luca (living their best Summer life;) and THE BESSST $40 product you’ll buy this Summer.
