We don’t actually start until September so I felt like I had more time buttttt then realized it’s less then two weeks away! So needless to say we’re going on all in this week and today i’m sharing the budget friendly back to school picks I found…
I’m sure you mama’s are the same but i’m always pretty conscious about the budget when shopping for kids (ESPECIALLY Luca;) because we all know how well the kids take care of their stuff right? I like to get them things they’re excited about but we definitely go the affordable route for things like backpacks, school supplies, and accessories. I’ve been super impressed with Walmart lately and it’s becoming one of our go-to’s for all things kids this summer and with back-to-school shopping coming up, same story! I let the kids help pick out some “essentials” (like this scooter for Luca or this cute lip gloss acessory set for Ava’s backpack) and I added in some real necessities like backpacks, pencil holders, and folders. Great that I could shop for everyone in one place and you can shop online based on what grade your kiddo is in, which is awesome!
If you’re lagging (which I usually am), I am mostly excited for Walmart’s NextDay Delivery Feature! Even if you forget an item or forget back-to-school shopping entirely, Walmart hooks you up with certain items on your doorstep the NEXT DAY! Pretty sure this feature was made for busy mamas, yea?? You can see a “NextDay eligible” label by items that fall under this feature, but read more about the option by heading here.
