Morning loves! I was trying to post this post all day yesterday but some reason was having an issue with my computer. Anyhow its been a minute since i’ve done a Honeybee Health post but i’ve been sharing tons of snaps on my SnapChat (@andeelayne) much more frequently. So if you’d like to see them and all kinds of random unfiltered’ness on there 😉 feel free to follow along! Ps I just learned how to change my settings so you guys can message me on there too! Okay here are some random Honeybee Health shots via the camera roll….. For Luca! These are always staples in my grocery cart. He loves these little freeze dried yogurt fruit snacks and I love that they have probiotics too. These blueberry and carrot teethers are a hit with him (and Ava too…because you know if he’s snacking she has to have some too). They dissolve really easily and I like them for the car because they don’t make a huge mess (ummm not like it should make a difference though because my car usually looks like a war zone lol) A couple others to snack on at home or in my diaper bag Love these for on the go for Ava!

Grocery Cart check in at Whole Foods! (Holla to The HB follower I met in the cereal aisle! You were a doll! Ps if you guys see me out say hi…I promise I am totally normal 😉
I try to do the majority of my grocery shopping at Traders so I don’t spend a billion dollars at Whole Foods but I always leave there with way more than I came in for. I love their coffee and the snack options they have for my babes! Ava loves those baked grilled cheese puffs and the BARE dried apple chips are a hit with the whole fam.
Alright lovelies! Finally a Honeybee Health post! I have been trying to do these on my Instagram and use the #honeybeehealth hashtag to make it easier to see snapshots of how I eat (and its a lot faster for me to post) but after several requests for a full blog post here we go!!! (Ps I’m doing this on my iPhone so sorry it’s a little choppy.) Lunching at Lemonade I have salmon, cous cous, kale salad and avocado/tomato salad! Of course washed it down with a guava lemonade! Yum!
My breakfast/brunches usually look like this! If I’m really craving a stack of pancakes I get them but normally I just go with something like this…egg white and turkey bacon omelette topped with avocado. I skipped the white toast and had a small cup of steel cut oats a small side of fruit and of course a latte.Lunching out is all about colorful veggies! I try to fill up on these (they come with a olive tapenade type of dip that is sooo good). For lunch I had the turkey pita wrap with no cheese and a side of sweet potatoe hash and kale salad!

A snap shot of my grocery cart after leaving the produce aisle. I try to stock up the majority of my cart with tons of colorful fruits and veggies! Lots of filling, nutrient dense produce. What I put in the house is what they will eat so I stock up on the good stuff!
A typical breakfast….instant oats, ground chia seed, half a banana and a little agave nectar to sweeten it up!You’ve probably seen this breakfast option on here before but the Van’s protein waffles are a staple in our house! Again topped with a little banana, ground chia, almond butter and the maple/agave blend syrup from Trader Joes.
My little one is ALWAYS asking for snacks in the car. Chances are if she’s munching on it I end up munching on them too so I try to keep those snacks healthy. These Dried apple chips are always on hand and Ava gobbles them up!
I’ll be honest i’ve been really bad about food prepping these last couple months.
Hi loves! It’s been a minute since i’ve done a Honeybee Health post and so many of you have asked about what I order at Starbucks so here we gooooo….I didn’t give up coffee when I was pregnant with Ava or this pregnancy either. I did cut back to one cup a day though. I try to make sure all of my options are around 200-300 calories because anything over that i’d rather be having a cupcake 😉 I also used to be into all the sugar free/splenda drinks etc but a couple years ago I started cutting that stuff out. Now I just go with a tall latte and have 2% or whole milk so I can drink it without sweetener or artificial sweetener.
ahhhh the breakfast sandwiches…my favorite! Pretty much the only two I eat there are the spinach egg white wrap (obsessed!) and the turkey bacon, cheese and egg white muffin! Love them and they are both under 300 Calories.I have raved about Evolution drinks before. They are SO good and the calorie count isn’t horrible on them. They sell these in the refrigerated section at Starbucks and are a go to of mine in the warmer months.
And its Fridayyyyy! “Meme” is in town so we are soaking up all that grandma goodness while we can! Why is it always so much better when your mama comes to visit ?! 😉 I get tons of requests for more food posts so i’ve been trying to post more on Instagram. It’s so much easier/faster to share on there but I like to do these full posts on the blog so I can elaborate a little more. So here we go with some recent random Honeybee Health shots for ya…. I was left in charge of ordering “take out” so it was a vegetable crudite, kale salad, chicken lettuce cups and hummus and pita. The hubby was out of town so if I was ordering for him too there would have probably been a bison burger or something a little more manly 😉 MAJOR popcorn cravings lately! This is the one I picked up from the grocery store and am obsessed!

Its been a minute since i’ve done a Honeybee Health post so here we go with some random shots that have been sitting on my camera roll… I’ve been making a lot of salads for lunch lately. This one has rotisserie chicken, (whatever veggies I have in the fridge) cherry tomatoes and shaved grilled corn, topped with a little bit of mozzarella and my go to Balsamic dressing. My go to creamer (it’s just milk, cream and sugar) and I love these Vita Coco Cafe drinks but the hubby usually polishes them off before I get a chance to snag one 😉 Out to dinner had filet mignon and loads of veggies Lunch with a friend at Tender Greens was a rotisserie chicken spinach salad and a side of tomato soup. and of course there’s a weekly trip to Wendy’s to get that frosty! I always tell the hubby to only get me the kids size but he knows best when I polish off the medium. 😉
I posted this shot on instagram last week from Greenleaf. I’m OBSESSED with their Cobb Lite salad. They use egg whites and turkey bacon ;)))At home I made healthy steak fajitas.
Alright my lovelies today we’re talking about one of my favorite things to make…a cheese plate! I mean who doesn’t love a cheese plate?! I don’t typically make it just for the hubby and I (although I may start now because Ava dominated the cheese, crackers and salami 😉 but whenever we have friends over I love to throw one together! They’re super easy and guests are always impressed! I posted a picture of this one on my instagram last week and wanted to do a breakdown for you of all the items I used. I kept this one pretty simple because I wanted to show you how you could make a great plate with only using items from good old Trader Joes. So lets get started! I purchased this slate cheese board years ago and have used it SO much! We only had a few friends over so I kept it to three cheeses for this plate. This garlic and fine herbs cheese is always a hit and I love that it comes in a round shape so makes for a prettier presentation. For the other two cheese I picked a Brie and parmesan (both in a wedge form).
Today’s post is about one of my go to Acai bowls I make a few times a week for my family. I used to make our smoothies and Acai bowls with juice but recently switched over to using ZICO® Premium Coconut Water™ as a base. It’s refreshing and slightly sweet without all the empty calories of sugary juices. “ZICO. Crack Life Open™” It comes in natural and chocolate flavor! You can pretty much always find one stashed in my diaper bag. It’s an easy on the go healthy drink that Ava loves as well! My Acai bowl change slightly depending on what I have in my kitchen but they mainly consists of one frozen acai packet, 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup frozen berries, a spoonful of goji powder (I use the powder because I don’t care for them whole), a couple spoonfuls of hemp seed and a bottle of natural flavor ZICO® Premium Coconut Water™. I used to use juice as my base but found coconut water to be a much better option. My bowls tasted just as good and didn’t need the extra calories and sugar from juice. I blend it all up and top it with half a banana and a small amount of pumpkin and flax seed granola for a super filling and healthy meal!

A typical breakfast of protein waffles, ground chia seed and a little agave/maple syrup blend. 90% of the time I have a carb breakfast. They fill me up and give me plenty of energy for the day.
We love cereal in our household! These are a few of my go to cereal options. All of these are higher in fiber and lower in sugar (and taste good too).The hubby picked up Wahoo’s for lunch for us. I opted for the chicken bowl but had mine with black beans and had them double up the lettuce and tomatoes.

I try my best to stock up on the majority of my items from Traders since its much more affordable and save Whole Foods for our meat and specialty items.My go to healthy pasta dinner when I don’t have a ton of time.
