Honeybee Health: Quinoa Johnny Cakes

Happy Sunday loves! I’m not usually a Sunday poster but had to share these yummy quinoa johnny cakes I made for breakfast this morning. They were straight from my new True Foods cook book and were a huge hit with the family!

LOVE the vanilla greek yogurt on these! SO good!

What you’ll need:

* Now I will say that these took a little more time to make. I suggest prepping your quinoa and batter before hand, especially if you have a hungry hubby who needs to eat IMMEDIATELY upon awakening lol. Other than that they are really easy to make. I may try them with egg whites and skim milk next time to cut down on the fat. FYI this recipe makes a ton and they are super filling. I would recommend halving the recipe if you’re a small family like us. I just stored the remaining batter i the fridge and will make these again for Ava’s breakfast during the week. Hope you enjoy them as well.
