Honeybee Home // Let’s Talk Coffee Table Books

It’s been a minute since I shared a Honeybee Home post with you girls but promise I’ve got some stuff in the works starting with all things Coffee Table Books! I did a major purge when we moved and donated so many books that I felt we either outgrew or that didn’t really excite me anymore. Needless to say I invested a lot of time and money sourcing new coffee table books for our new home and am happy to finally be done! If you’re looking to add some new coffee table books to your home, definitely read on as I’m sharing several of my new favorites (that you haven’t seen a million times already)….

I was on a mission to find unique coffee table books for our new home that we had more of a personal connection to.  For me I gravitated towards some photography books, interior design books and of course fashion books (but tried to steer clear of the Chanel and Tom Ford one you see on everyone’s coffee table).

My hubby loves golf, tennis, sneakers and watches so I sprinkled in a few fun books for him too. Our whole house is pretty much black and white so I  tried to keep my color scheme in mind but also added in some little pops of color here and there.  We’ve used these books in so many different rooms  to style and accessorize our home and I love that they almost act like a piece of art. Plus, they’re always conversation starters and an organic way to add your personality into your home! Coffee tables, night stands, office shelves, and our bar area…we went in with books!

I rounded up some of my absolute faves for you girls and those are all below (just click each number in the list to shop!). For even more picks, click through the options under the collage….

Lifestyle & Design

1 – The Big Book of Chic is a classic and since the cover is so simple, it can be mixed and matched in lots of different rooms.

2 – Ahhh one of my  favorites and it’s such a beautiful book inside and out! I stumbled upon this photographer’s work at a chic hotel in Palm Springs and it just spoke to me. We love Palm Springs and his work is so different with such a cool moody vibe. Definitely grab for someone who loves architecture and design ($43).

3 – This book has a ton of gorgeous interiors, all Hamptons style. The outside is neutral so it’s an easy one to style.

4 – Remodelista is an OG of pretty design spaces and I find myself getting inspo from this on the regular.

5 – Slim Aarons is a famous photographer and this book is a cool glimpse into luxury and glam of earlier decades, all poolside. This is a fit for seriously every style of home or room too.

6 – Hubby picked this one (he is tennis obsessed and used to play in college) but I actually enjoy it too! Great for a bar area, man cave, or TV room.

7 – One of my faves on the list! NYC is obviously an iconic city and guests always love flipping through this one (great gift too!).

8 – The New York Magazine Book, a classic and only $35!

Fashion

1, 2, 3 – Can you tell I’m a liiittle obsessed with Kate Moss? 😉 Honestly she’s just so interesting looking yet beautiful and her looks + these photographers make for such epic coffee table books. These are always guest favorites and they give rooms that sexy cool style.

4 – Another beautiful fashion photography choice. Such insane photography and the black and white cover can again be mix and matched. Probably one of my favorite purchases.

5 – Lalalove this bright neon pink YSL book for a pop of color! Could even be really fun in a little girl’s room. This Chloe Book I have seen before but really loved it so purchased it for my office shelves.

6, 7, 8, 9 – All super chic fashion and runway books based on some of my favorite designers. I like to mix in fashion with interior books in our main areas of the home (like a coffee table, my office, etc.).

10 – This book’s print makes a statement and looks nice as the top book in a stack. I also enjoy reading the contributors inside this book as a glimpse into the life of models, photographers, etc. Another cute housewarming gift for someone who loves style!

  1. My coffee table book currently is auto biography fashion designer Isaac Mizahari “IM” and the cover is black & white!

  2. Your house is GORGEOUS!!! Mind sharing the dark paint or stain color used in your office, your kitchen cabinets and source of your wood floors? We’re building and we want dark cabinets and light floors, but I want to make sure it still blends and isn’t too much stark contrast – and your home is KILLER! Thanks!
