A Few Pieces to Elevate This Years Thanksgiving Table Scape

With only a few weeks out from Thanksgiving I figured today was the perfect time to share a few pieces to elevate your Thanksgiving Tablescape. I don’t think I ever fully posted on last year’s set up so today I’m sharing some snaps and hopefully some tips to inspire your spread if you’re hosting this year!

Set the Mood

First things first, it’s all about setting the mood! For me, it’s all about cozy, warm and inviting. The easiest way to do that is with a good playlist, bar set up upon arrival and lots of candles. When your guests walk in, it just immediately sets the tone. When we were originally building our home, I wanted a fireplace in our dining room that was even height with the table. During construction, we realized it wasn’t going to work so I ended up having them make this enclave and have to say I LOVE that we decided to do that. I filled it with alternating pillar candles and just love any chance I get to light it up.

You can easily create this same cozy vibe with any of these candleholders below. I personally love a few of them on the table mixed in with some florals. I have tons of inspo on my THANKSGIVING and FLORALS Pinterest boards so feel free to follow along if you’re looking for more ideas!

Napkins & Table Runners

I always try to keep it pretty neutral and basic here so that you can reuse them for years to come and just update your florals. Last year I waited too long and all that was left was this plum color. It wasn’t my first choice but actually ended up liking the playful pop of color after all.

THANKSGIVING TABLESCAPE

Splurge on some new serveware

Yes! There’s no better time to splurge on some new serveware. I purchased these wine glasses and these champagne flutes a couple years ago and always get asked about them. I also finally pulled the trigger on some gold flatware a couple years ago and every year get excited to break them out again!

Stock the Bar

I don’t know about you girls but we are drinkers over hurrr ;)…especially during the holidays. Whether it’s a cute wine set up or specialty cocktail station, you always get that little wow moment when your guests arrive. We use our bar cart so often and is definitely one of our most used items.

A Little Personal Touch

I always love the idea of adding just a little something to everyone’s plate. It doesn’t have to be expensive or time consuming. I literally just snipped a few branches off of our olive tree in our backyard last year and added them to each setting.

And that’s it! If you want more ideas on Thanksgiving Tablescapes I shared more on my Ten Tips to Hosting Your Best Thanksgiving and some really cute Kids Thanksgiving Table Ideas on this post HERE!
