Our Thanksgiving Tablescape

Alright my loves, Thanksgiving is only a couple weeks away and I couldn’t wait to start sharing inspiration for you girls! This is our Thanksgiving tablescape from a few years ago but I updated all the links for your girls so you should be able to shop anything linked! These style posts are definitely a lot more work but I TRULY love doing them and am so glad you girls want to see more of them too! So without further ado here is some outdoor Thanksgiving Day inspo!

We had a full house for this thanksgiving, so we took it outdoors (the upside to Fall in SoCal!). We are always entertaining in our backyard and once all the kiddos toys and play things are cleared out 😉 it’s the perfect space to create a little dinner party. For this year you girls might remember I did one long table (my favorite!) and a smaller kid’s table next to it.

Garland Tablescape

I was SO happy with how the garland turned out. I designed it at a place in Newport Beach called Urban Gardner. It was a little bit on the pricy side but I think I may have found a delivery service that does them for less so let me know if you’re interested and I’ll share!

I used our everyday all-white dinner plates and reused the same gold flatware I purchased from Target for our Thanksgiving Dinner Table the year before.

I plan on being in boyfriend jeans with a fun off the shoulder top this year (something a little flowy and oversized of course 😉

I really wanted something fun and casual for the kid’s table and I loved the idea of distressed and mismatched chairs. I found the perfect colorable tablecloth along with cute leaf-patterned plates and napkins. I swear I basically want everything from the Spritz line at Target (am I right?!) I then just added a few greens (literally $2.99 a bunch) and pumpkins from Trader Joe’s to finish it off.

Andddd let’s be honest….who doesn’t want a little Flarp at their Thanksgiving Dinner?! LOL Have your kids tried this stuff? Mine are obsessed! It’s not Thanksgiving chic by any means 😉 but I will definitely be mom and auntie of the year when the kids see it on the table. (Hey…whatever buys you a few more minutes of entertainment right?!

I found these fun Faux Fur Rugs and decided to throw them on the bench at the last minute and am so happy with the way they turned out.

Can we just talk about this table?! We have rented furniture when we’ve had parties in the past where I ended up spending so much money on pieces that would ultimately be covered with a tablecloth. For this year I rented a stunning table, bench, mismatched chairs and all the brass candle holders from Sweet Salvage Rentals and was BEYOND happy with them! I was BLOWN away with how many beautiful vintage pieces they carry.

I love the warmth that a little colored glass gives. If you’re local, I rented mine from CherishedRentals.

Alright letssss break it down! There are so many festive pieces out right now. I’ve rounded up tons of my favorites for you girls below at all different price points!

I have so many wine glasses and I am always shopping for more (maybe because we use them so often lol). They’re such a fun way to instantly play up your tablescape and I’m loving so many of these creative styles above!

I opted for a metallic gold one last year but this year since we are entertaining our guests outdoor, I went with more of a boho relaxed vibe with these charges. I love that I will be able to use them again for Spring/Summer entertaining too.

There are so many fun options right now!

And lastly, let’s talk “the Extras”…

It’s all about those fun little extra pieces that really pull the table together and finish it off. I like to add in some unique pieces like these salt and peppers holders, this wine bottle coaster or these mini place cardholders.

I used two of these Gold Candle Holders last year (full post HERE) and they were perfect for Christmas time too.  I just ordered this Double Barrel Drink Cart Station and will be using it on Thanksgiving. I plan on putting beers on one side and wine on the other. We’ve gotten so much use out of this outdoor drink stand (on SALE!) that I figured we would get tons of use out of the double one as well.  If you have more of a formal indoor thanksgiving planned, This Bronze Multi Wine Holder Bucket would be perfect!

Okay PHEW! That was a lot 😉 I hope this post was helpful and you girls all enjoyed this post. Let me know what other kinds of entertaining or holiday posts you’d like to see on The Honeybee!
