Crowd-Pleaser Holiday Hosting Ideas

Okay girls! We are a week away from Christmas weekend and if you’re hosting this year I wanted to give you a little inspo on how you can easily level up your holiday party with this hot cocoa bar and no-fail Christmas decor set up! A hot cocoa bar is ALWAYS a crowd-pleaser and is actually so fun to put together. An adults-only cocoa bar is also fun, too 😉 I put together everything in our backyard next to the fire pit but this can of course be done in any area of your home for a setup everyone will love. I’m sharing everything I used in today’s post!

For a little inspo for the bedrooms don’t miss my 6 easy ways to refresh your guest bedroom if you’re hosting overnight guests! And of course, I can’t forget about holiday home decor so check out all of my faves here if you’re still looking for a few last-minute pieces. Okay let’s get into it!

I stuck with classic Christmas colors plus some plaid and cozy textures to create a festive feel that worked with our outdoor space!

I’ve been using these Plaid Pillows throughout our home this holiday season that comes in two different color combos.

I love the subtle embroidered dots on this Red Table Runner for an extra festive look.

This classic Cotton Table Runner works with any holiday setup! I’m super into the green color this year.

These Tealight Holders are my absolute FAVE, I pretty much pull them out for every holiday!

This LED Birch Tree adds the prettiest twinkling lights to the outdoor space making everything feel complete.

I have these Velvet Pillows in a few different colors that I like to place in my outdoor and indoor spaces for the holidays.

Holiday scents always make things feel more festive so I like to put out this Reed Diffuser.

I have real poinsettias outside but I also love this Faux-Poinsettia to get the same look.

All you need is your fave cocoa, cocoa toppings, mugs, and (of course) holiday decor to complete the look!

Start with a Serving Board to place all of your hot cocoa bar goodies on.

I love adding this Fondue Set to the setup to add melted chocolate to the cookies and other goodies, or to keep the hot cocoa warm.

Of course, don’t forget the mugs! I use these White Mugs to match with the rest of the hot cocoa bar.

This Hot Chocolate Mix is my favorite, so yummy!

These Snowman Marshmallows are SO cute and are my favorite topping to use!

If you’re looking for a classic mallow, grab these Gourmet Marshmallows for an extra-yummy treat.

These Peppermint Stirrers are fun if you want to add a minty hit to your cocoa (plus, they’re adorable).

Or go a little more classic with these Marshmallow Chocolate Stirrers.

For a little something to munch on, this Chocolate and Sea Salt Carmel Corn is the way to go.
