Most of you girls know me by now and know I loooove a glass of rose. Living in southern California it’s patio season year around (sorry my cold weather friends) so when summer hits it’s fun to change it up a bit and have something that is best enjoyed when the temps really heat up-frose! There are a lot of frose recipes out there but until recently I hadn’t found one that is the perfect combo of slushiness, booziness and sweetness. Even better, this recipe is CRAZY EASY to make!
All you need…
1 bottle of rose (doesn’t have to be an expensive one!)
4 oz simple syrup
8 oz watermelon juice
2 oz lemon juice (I love Santa Cruz Organics)
Edible flowers(for garish or you you can you fresh watermelon slices)
5 Easy Steps…
1. ) Mix all the ingredients together
2.) Put in appropriate sized tupperware container
3.) Freeze overnight
4.) Scrape the top off and scoop into glasses (you can use an ice cream scooper or oversized spoon)
5.) Add a pretty garnish (I added edible flowers and these adorable mini watermelon garnishes) You can also top with a little more rose’ or watermelon juice but it melts pretty quickly and is DELISH!
Yum! Might have to make this for the adults at my sons upcoming birthday party🍹. Thanks for sharing!
