My #Ultahairpledge is to step out of my comfort zone and try different hair styles!

Now here are some of the hair products I’m loving from ULTA…

I have been a Big Sexy Hair fan for quite sometime but these two products are definitely at the top of my list! The Spray & Play hairspray holds my hair perfectly! The Root Pump is an absolute must for me as my hair tends to go flat on top. This gives it just enough texture and hold without being too heavy.

I had never tried this abba brand before but was intrigued by the ingredients and had to give them a go! This line is 100% vegan, sulfate-free and free of synthetic color additive!  The moisture shampoo is a ProQuinoa Complex and is made with peppermint and Olive Butter. I loved the peppermint smell (and the hubby did too) and my hair felt clean and moisturized. This conditioner is a thickening conditioner for fine, limp hair and is made with Grapefruit and Lemongrass. Usually after using shampooing and conditioning my hair, I have to put some kind of oil or glossing serum on it after. I honestly didn’t have to do that after using these! My hair didn’t feel dry at all! I would definitely recommend this line as they are products I would repurchase for sure!

Being a mom who is always on the go, having a dry shampoo is a must! This Dust It Mattifying Powder by Schwarzkopf is  one of my favorites! You just sprinkle some on your roots, fluff it with your finger tips and it instantly adds a little life back into your roots.
You ladies know I’m a huge fan of CONAIR hot rollers. They are a quick and easy way to tame my hair and create some big bouncy curls.  They heat up really quickly, which is perfect if you’re in a rush.  I usually end up tossing the metal pins they come with as they tend to leave a crease in your hair and don’t hold them in as well. The best part about this set is it also comes with claw-like clips to hold the rollers in place without creasing! If you’re in need of a new set of rollers, I definitely recommend these!
There are still a ton of products in this goodie box I want to try, so I will definitely keep you ladies posted as I come across good ones!
Have you ladies tried any of these?! What are some of your CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT hair products?! Tell me your answer below for a chance to win a $100 ULTA Beauty gift card.

  1. honestly, i've never been to ulta before, but it sounds like i need to make a trip stat! i'd say the ONLY product i've found that i can't live without is rusk w8less plus hairspray. use it daily. i'm curious to try your hairspray rec though. my biggest issue is that i'm a hair-flipper & need a spray with hold that won't frizz out if i flip a little. i'm also a recent convert to '12 benefits'. i haven't found it anywhere but amazon as of now. it's kind of a leave-in conditioner that does all sort of awesome things & allows my curls to be extra curly when i diffuse. oh wait, one more! 'bamboo shine – silk-sleek brilliance cream'. my stylist used it on me & i freaked over how GREAT it smells! i can't get enough of my hair when i use it, it smells insanely great. can't wait to try some of your recs!

  2. I love the Matrix Biolage Hydrathérapie. This line works wonders. It leave my hair hydrated and feeling soft. It has a nice smell but not overpowering.

  3. My hair absolutely cannot live without MAcadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair MAsque and its Spray On Oil. My hair feels so soft and supple and smells so nice after using it.

  4. I just found Redken Blonde Glam at Ulta, changed my life. Ulta now has their own sunless tanning products too, cannot wait to try!

  5. Thank you so much for sharing your finds, Andee! I will definitely try these out.
I have a quick question – I have long, dark, hair like you. I would say it's in between wavy and straight? My hair is also really thick…so thick that it takes over an hour to blow dry and hair stylists at the salon freak when they see me walk in because they know they'll be working on me forever! Also I have so many problems with curling irons as curling irons just don't work at all with my hair…I never get one single curl.
I was wondering if you had thick hair also (I can't really tell) and if the conair rollers are my answer to curling my thick hair?

  6. I love Ulta, and I haven't tried any of these products. My favorite that you mentioned is the CONAIR hot rollers!!!!!!!! I MUST HAVE THESE! I use hot rollers on my hair as mine hair is "wavy." The hot rollers tame my hair and smooth it out. Thanks for sharing.

  7. I love your hair so thank you for sharing this! The Big Sexy Hair Root Pump is the best! I switch between that and Kenra's root spray, but I honestly love the root pump the most! Ulta is definitely the best place to buy hair products 🙂

  8. I vow to get more trims/haircuts throughout the year 🙂 I have not tried a dry shampoo yet…maybe I should as I am a mom on the go.

  9. I have tried the big sexy hair products before and I liked them, but they weren't my fav. My favorite product is biolage curl creme (doesn't leave my hair crunchy or wet looking).

  10. Any root pump products, my favorite so far is Big Sexy root pump, my hair is so flat and it helps give me a much needed root boost throughout the day!I definitely want to try those hot rollers!

  11. my new cant live without is dessert essence hair protectant with coconut milk -flattens my hair better than the high priced stuff, no oily feel and shines like crazy

  12. I have mega short hair, so I use very few products if any…I would say my cant live without product would be simple coconut oil, because it gives a healthy glossy shine.

  13. Pantene Ice Shine shampoo. I was impressed by how shiny it made my hair, considering how cheap it is!

  14. Fantasia IC Hair Polisher Heat Protector Straightening Serum
It completely transforms my hair from a blah frizz pot to sleek, shiny, beautiful locks

  15. I am growing out a pixie cut right now (it's in a weird mullet-y in between length right now) and I am obsessed with dry shampoo. I am interested to try your brand. I have been using the Sexy Big Hair Volume Dry Shampoo.

  16. have so many choices at Ulta is good so we can try other products to see what works for us. and the small size options make trying many different items easier.

  17. I have not tried any of the products you showed on this post. Sorry! I have very short hair and also try to buy only organic, vegetarian hair products. One of my fav brands is Head Organics. I love their hair wax and their hair gel!

  19. I love Jonathan hair spray but at $30 a can it's too pricey to use all the time. I need to find another spray that works as well.

  20. I have to have my Pantene for curly hair shampoo and conditioner and my Tresemme curl definiton mousse. Thank you!
