Revlon Sponsored Post

As a new mama who feels like there are never enough hours in the day, I’ve learned how to simplify my makeup. Gone are the days of primping and spending tons of time in front of a mirror applying makeup. Now I have my routine down to about 5 minutes and i’m out the door! To me, the key to great makeup is making it look natural while emphasizing your features. I like to play up my eyes and keep the rest of my look pretty simple for daytime errands. One of the easiest ways to do that is by choosing a great eye liner. I recently tried the new Photo Ready Kahjal Intense Eyeliner + Brightener and have been using it every day since! It’s a two in one eyeliner that has a deep pigmented color on one end and a brightener on the other! I’ll admit I used to reach for the standard black eyeliner most days but I’m really loving what a difference a little pop of color can make! I used the pigmented color on my top and bottom lash line and just smudged it out so there were no harsh lines. Another quick and easy beauty trick I like to do is lining my bottom waterline with a natural color eyeliner. It instantly makes your eyes appear larger. Here’s a shot of my day to day makeup using the PhotoReady Kajal Intense Eyeliner + Brightener…

I used the Revlon PhotoReady Kajal Intense Eyeliner + Brightener in Purple Reign. I love how natural it looks and how it also emphasizes my green eyes.

The other product I’ve been loving is the Revlon Lash Potion Volume & Length mascara. The one thing I look for in a mascara is fullness without clumping! It’s a major deal breaker for me if my mascara clumps. The Lash Potion mascara has a triple-groove wand that coats the lashes for dramatic volume and combs through for clump-free length! The mascara also has strengthening proteins, peptides and essential vitamins that revitalizes lashes and is available in non-waterproof and waterproof.

  5. My best kept secret is curling my eyelashes….with a spoon! Yes, a spoon! I have super straight eyelashes and I don't go a day without curling them and curling them with a spoon gives them a more natural curl than it does with the eyelash curler! 😉

  6. Looks very pretty! My super secret, not so secret, beauty superpower is some hairspray. I have crazy curls and just recently discovered instead of putting on lots of gel or cream my hair is tamed much more if I spray hairspray on while it's damp. So simple!

  7. I will definitely try out that mascara!

My "secret" is to moisturize and have a lip color handy at all times. I will dab the lip color on my cheeks if I don't have any blush and will dab it on my lips as well. 🙂

  8. My best kept beauty secret: don't stress. Stress is so hard on skin and can prematurely age you. Hard for any makeup to look good, if your face looks stressed.

  13. Looks great! I never leave the house with at least liner, mascara, and my brows done. Even if I don't have time to do anything else, something about getting all three of those done makes me feel polished.

  14. My best kept beauty secret is rose water and witch hazel! I mix the two in a small spray bottle and spray my face several times a day. I really feel that it's the most perfect pick me up and helps my skin stay fresh all day!

  15. My best kept secret is when I'm working out, I sleek back my hair with deep conditioner and/or Coconut Oil mixed in with a little gel, and put it in a pony tail. The heat from working out does wonders for my hair and it saves me time in the shower. Win win!

  16. A good diet and lots of water is my best kept beauty secret. It keeps my skin clear of blemishes and looking healthy, all make up goes on so much better when the canvas (aka your face) is at it's best! 🙂

  17. My secret is using Vaseline as makeup remover, eyelash conditioner, lip moisturizer, and cuticle conditioner. You can get a container at Target for <$1!

  18. My best kept beauty secret is staying hydrated. I have a natural glow, but if I don't stay hydrated, I lose that glow, which makes it hard to put makeup on without looking weird.

  19. Contrary to popular belief, it's not good to wash your hair everyday since it strips the hair of its natural oils. Therefore, I don't wash it everyday. I also tame the flyaways with organic coconut oil. 🙂

  20. After I put my makeup on, I like to lightly dust my face with baby powder. It helps to set my makeup and keeps the oil away.

  23. My secret is… I steal ideas from my daughters! I tend to get stuck in the rut of doing what I'm familiar with, so I look to my daughters and "borrow" from their ideas and styles to update and have fun with my own 🙂

  24. For the occasional blemish: grind up a cheap aspirin tablet, add a dab of honey and smear it on the blemish at night. One or two days and it’s gone!

  28. My best kept beauty secret is to exfoliate at least once a week, sometimes twice. It makes a world of difference in the clarity of my skin. 🙂

  29. In the summer, my heels are a freaking mess! My secret to keeping them nice and smooth and healthy pink? A Mr. Pumice brand metal foot file. It is just like the ones used in salons an you can get them at places like Sally Beauty Supply for about $8. I don't work for Mr. Pumice and am not being paid to say this. LOL I only mention this brand as it is the only one I have found on the market. Use whatever brand you find! LOL I just had my first pedicure in June and loved it so much and noticed the foot files they used and decided to try to find one to use at home because I can't afford a monthly pedicure. The file says you can use it dry, but I use it after soaking my feet to get the skin really soft. Just be careful and file slowly and gently so you don't hurt yourself. Works great!!!
