Our Creepy Chic Halloween Decor

If you’re an OG Honeybee reader, you know it’s no surprise that Halloween is a big deal around here! I loooove spooking out the house and can tell my love for all things creepy has officially rubbed up on the kids too (still working on the hubby though lol). I shared a full Halloween Home Tour Video on my instagram reels yesterday, but wanted to do a full post and link everything for you guys. So here is a peek at our creepy chic halloween decor!

I have accumulated several boxes of Halloween decor over the years, so I truly try my best to re use my pieces from prior years and only splurge on new unique pieces that really speak to me. These Harry Potter floating candles were definitely ones of those pieces that I knew I had to have this year! They are definitely show stoppers and are such a vibe! I purchased them from Pottery Barn but Amazon makes a similar one too (linked on my Amazon store front).

I have used these skeletons on my staircase and exterior of my house in prior years and thought this year it would be fun to reuse them in a little dinner party theme. It was an added bonus when Luca pulled out all my spider webs and created some hairstyles for them lol. They looked to good we had to keep them! This rooms sits on the front of our house so it’s fun to see people slowing down and looking in on the spooky dinner party!

Side note – electric candles are an absolute must! No more worrying about wax melting on your furniture and they can easily be turned on and off with the click of a remote. These are also linked on my Amazon Store Front.

I’ve done some serious bar styling in years past but this year I kept it quick and easy with just a few accent pieces since the floating candles are stealing the show anyway. Spider webs look epic in this space but let’s be honest, they are SUCH a pain to put up (and ain’t nobody got time for that ;). These white gauzy cloths give the same vibe and literally take two minutes to put up.

We hosted our annual pumpkin decorating party for a few of Ava’s friends so I whipped up this fun CharSpookerie! I’ll be posting a quick “how to” reel this weekend if you want to see how to do one in a hurry! Needless to say the kids were super excited about it.

The fire skulls logs made another debut this year and are ALWAYS a hit!

  1. Have you seen the price of the 5′ skeletons this year? $80-$100 now, I paid $40 just a couple years ago. Wow! I think my favorite thing here is the hairstyles you put on the skeletons, particularly the mohawk.
