Christmas (Toy) Picks for the little ones!

I know i’m not the only person saying I can’t believe that Christmas is only a little over a month away!! I’m typically a last minute shopper but am shocked i’ve (I mean Santa) actually purchased the majority of Ava’s gifts already! Today I’m sharing a few of my favorites for the kiddos from Nordstrom. I’ve said it time and time again but the majority of my shopping is done at Nordstrom merely because they are so amazing with returns. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve misplaced or forgot receipts and love that they put that little sticker on their tags so they can just pull it up with that code (hey its the little things 😉 Anyhow if you are planning on doing some gift giving for nieces, nephews or family friends Nordstrom is pretty much always a safe bet so here are some of my favorites for the kiddos…..

  1. I have done a good chunk of my shopping (shockingly!) which is pretty exciting to feel prepared and on the ball. No kids for me but I have a few nieces and nephews to purchase for so these are great suggestions 🙂

  2. that clock puzzle is the perfect fun & educational gift that i've been looking for my almost 2 year old! thank you!

  3. A karaoke machine is on the list for my almost 3 year old, for sure! I've gotten most of her things – the main present is a walk along remote control dog, then a Doc McStuffins dress up outfit, two Frozen stuffed dolls (I love the plastic "toddler" ones but I know she'll destroy that hair immediately so I went with stuffed), some little dress up jewelry from the $1 section at Target (gotta love that place for stocking stuffers!), and I'm getting her the Little People Preschool. Plus all the stuff the Grandparents are getting her I think things might be a little out of control this year! One thing I think is awesome is a digital camera for kids – One Step Ahead has a great one. Might be picking this up for her for her birthday in January.

  4. Sigh. I haven't started yet, but I need to soon before the madness starts. Marli is really into stamps, esp since I started takingi her to Gymboree classes. I might have to invest in that cute little turtle night light! Starting about a week ago, Marli will NOT sleep with the door closed and screams like a cray cray baby when she shut the door. I don't know what it is, but I bet this would help her sleep better.

  5. The Elf on the Shelf was one of the best buys we've made! Our little elf comes back every year & gets into all sorts of trouble..lol!!! My girls love it & so do I….my husband even gets into it!!! Such a fun family tradition – you will love it & so will the little miss!

  6. That little turtle is so fun!! What a good idea. I can't wait to see what fun your elf gets into. We haven't started yet this year. Eek! I can't believe how fast it's approaching 🙂

  7. Thank you so much for sharing this. I added the lamb to my registry and found it now comes in a set with a "projector" lamb and a "rattle" lamb. I am so excited to receive/buy it. I really appreciate all your advice re: baby/ baby care so I've added other great items.
