Big request from you girls to do an updated Sweatsuits post and you know I’m here for it! I’m loving the tomboy spin on lounge lately with sweatsuits being the new loungewear and you know I had to pair the look with sneakers. This is the ultimate mom-duty look and something you’ll find me in during the week for errands and school pickup. Seeing tons of cute options that I wanted to share with you girls- from tomboy styles to more fitted pieces, so scroll down to see my picks!
By this point, most of us have the work from home thing down and I’m finally reaching for jeans and makeup at least a couple times a week (which is saying a lot compared to where we were to start the process last year). Don’t get me wrong, I’m in lounge and activewear a lot of the time but I do like reaching for a few things to upgrade my WFH look. I feel like an extra 10 minutes goes a longggg way when putting myself together in the morning and I’m more motivated when I put in a little effort.
Winter is the perfect time to break out those dark florals pieces ladies. I purchased this the moody floral dress a few month back and am obsessed with. It’s so comfy, flattering and perfect for Valentine’s Day coming up next week so wanted to share it with you all in case you were still on the hunt for something to wear.
It’s no secret that I’m a sucker for Golden Goose Sneakers. I’ve been wearing them before they took over IG a few years ago and they continue to be one of my most worn designer purchases year after year. I know they’re pricey and def an investment but honestly, they’re the most comfortable sneaker and I love how they give that effortless edge to anything I’m wearing.
Since we’re rocking sneakers right now more than ever before, I wanted to break down some of my favorite pairs that you haven’t seen everywhere. Don’t get me wrong, I love some of the really popular or neutral pairs too- I just also like to find the hidden ones that not every girl is wearing over on IG. If you’re into the ones that aren’t overly trendy right now, keep on scrolling!
Let’s be real, hubby and I are mainly staying at home these days and doing date nights in the backyard but we did recently get out for an outdoor dinner now that some restaurants are open and it was honestly so nice! Depending on if you’re able to go out or want something to pair with jeans for an at-home date, I rounded up some fave casual tops! Right in time for Valentine’s Day too.
You girls know I live for a good Splurge vs. Steal and I know you’re into them too- so I wanted to pull together 6 of the best I’ve found recently. If you girls are into this, I’ll make it an official monthly series so let me know what you think! From the sunglasses I get the most DMs about and their budget-friendly lookalike to a $55 flannel steal, there’s something for every budget below!
Feel like this is my 10th activewear post in the last year but let’s be honest, it’s what we’re all living in right now- at least I am. I’m all about trying to get in those workouts (4 a week is my goal right now) and also just throw something on that’s easy and wearable throughout my day. We’re not doing much still and I find that cute activewear makes the most sense from workout to school pickup to lounging at home. I can always throw on an oversized denim jacket or a couple accessories to take the look from workout to more athleisure because I’m all about that ease.
We’re still a couple weeks away from Valentine’s Day but for you girls who are shopping early or getting your wishlists together, I wanted to get this post up! Thoguht it’d be fun to cover both NAUGHTY and NICE depending whatever kind of vibe you girls are into! Keep reading for a few date-night picks, some Vday beauty, and of course some wishlist items to pass on to the guys.
You girls know that I live for a good bag. Don’t get me wrong, I have a soft spot for shoes (mainly sneakers) but bags are definitely where I like to “invest” my money. To me, it’s worth the splurge and then when I find a good budget-friendly one, I snag it- especially if it’s a trendier look.
I usually don’t mind investing a little more money on my shoes as I feel like they’re items you will definitely get your wear out of. But that being said, i’m always over the moon when I find a killer pair of shoes that doesn’t come with a steep price tag. Today I’m sharing a pair of budget friendly ankle boots that I’m obsessssed with and know you girls will love too!
