One of the best parts about blogging is being able to spread the word about amazing things happening in our community. For all my local ladies (and non local if you still would like to donate) I wanted to tell you about an amazing Gala put on by the CHOC Glass Slipper Guild that is taking place on May 2nd at the Newport Dunes in Newport Beach benefiting CHOC Children’s Hospital. The Gala expects to complete the goal of funding $1,000,000.00 pledge for the new 6,400 sqaure-foot Post Anesthesia Care Unit for the Surgery Department of the new Bill Holmes CHOC Children’s Tower!
This years theme is a night A Night in the Bohemian Garden and will be in a massive 18,000 square foot tent overlooking the sunset on the Back Bay. There will be a red carpet entrance followed up with a silent auction while enjoying specialty cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Guest will then enjoy a sit down dinner and live auction in the fabulously decorated tent and end the night with an after party at the adjacent Back Bay Bistro. The after party will be featuring a casino and music to celebrate! This is one event that is definitely not to be missed!
