Happy Friday beauties! I am beyond excited for todays post becccccause it is a MAJOR Fall Must Haves round up! I can’t believe it is almost that time of year again already but I’m not complaining! So today i’m teaming up with Nordstrom and bringing you my Must Have pieces to help you transition your wardrobe into Fall! Here is a look I wore last week with some on trend pieces I scooped up from Nordstrom and plan on remixing into my wardrobe non stop these next few months…
It’s all about lightweight jackets, quality basic tees, classic skinnies and boots of course! Utility jackets are one of my favorite pieces for Fall and THIS ONE is a steal for $69! (I’m wearing an XS)
and how fun are these cat eye sunnies?! A lot of you were asking about them on SnapChat yesterday. I love that they’re a little more of an oversized frame and such a steal for $59!!
Okay, lets not even talk about how overdue this post is but thank you so much to you girls that kept messaging me about posting my guest bathroom update! You may remember I shared Our Master Bathroom Remodel earlier this year and am so sorry I have completely lagged with sharing these Guest Bathroom pics with you girls. It was partly delayed because I searched forever but could not find the before shots that I took (I think they were on my old iPhone and did not save;( but none the less here are some shots of our finished guest bathroom and some super exciting news (at the end of the post!)….
So similar to our Master Bathroom we wanted something clean, crisp and simple. We used the same flooring and Calacatta Marble as we did in our Master. The flooring is actually a tile that looks like wood and I love the gray color. A lot of you have asked about it and we are happy with it so far. I will say it can be a little “colder” than traditional wood flooring because it’s tile but definitely not a deal breaker.
Morning babes! Sorry this post is a day late. I had it put together yesterday and was rushing around trying to get ready for the concert we went to last night and forgot to post it. So many great steals right now so here are this weeks round up Weekend Deals and Steals!
First things first…lets talk sunglasses. You girls know I am an addict but these are the one’s I’ve been living in lately! I know some of these sunnies aren’t in everyones budget so I’m sharing look for less options on all four!
Today’s post is with one of my favorites styles….Tomboy chic. My girlfriends pointed out that I go either super feminine or really Tomboy and looking through my posts I think they’re spot on. I grew up with three older brothers so sneaks, camo print, and baseball caps are all my favorite kind of looks. I just feel so comfortable in them and I love that low key kind of vibe. So here’s a tomboy (chic;) look from a couple weeks ago with the comfiest little dress that can be dressed up or down…..
I paired mine with some sneaks, a denim jacket and a baseball cap for a laid back but still pulled together vibe. I’ve mentioned these sneakers before and have not regretted purchasing them one bit! They’re not budget friendly by any means so I wanted to give you girls a couple more affordable sneakers options that would go great with this look too…..
Morning Loves! Today I am teaming up with Garnier and talking about their new Whole Blends Line. I’m all for great products at budget friendly price point and this line is just that! Garnier has carefully crafted signature blend of select ingredients combined with sensorial fragrances chosen to care for hair. These nurturing and gentle formulas are Paraben free and help restore the health and natural beauty of your hair. They’re made with extracts of amazing ingredients like Coconut oil, Cocoa Butter and Argan Oil and are perfect for everyday use. The best part is that there are several different options to choose from the line all to fit whatever hair care needs you have!
Summer is full swing and it’s safe to say our days have been spent with my little ones at the pool and beach lately. With all those extra hours in the sun my hair has been super dry lately so for my blend, I selected the Hydrating Care from the Garnier Whole Blends line. This blend is made with coconut water and vanilla milk extracts and help to quench and hydrate your hair.
I used the Hydrating shampoo,
Helllllo beauties! I know we are far from Fall here in SoCal buttttt I have to say I swear I already felt the weather change a bit these past couple weeks! Am I crazy or did you girls feel the slight chill in the mornings and evenings too?! Maybe it’s wishful thinking but either way i’m so excited for the change. I know my mid west and east coast babes will be feeling it a lot sooner than us so today i’m sharing some fun tops that you can wear now (finishing out the last few weeks of Summer) and also transition them into the Fall and Winter! I scooped up a few of these from Nordstrom last week. They have so many quality, on trend basics right now including this fun bell sleeve top I had to have…
I actually didn’t realize this top was so cropped when I purchased it but am really LOVING it! It’s super comfy and i’ll definitely wear it with my HIGH WAIST DENIM too. For this playful look, I paired it with some relaxed boyfriend jeans and THESE LACE UP SANDALS i’ve been wearing a lot lately.
A question I get asked quite frequently is what are your investment splurges and how do you choose which ones to make and which ones to pass on? Well you girls know I am a HUGE believer in mixing high lows but there are a few things that I will always splurge on.
There are a lot of different questions you could ask yourself but it all basically just boils down to one….How much wear will you get out if it?! Well today I am teaming up with Nordstrom and sharing my Designer pieces that I will always splurge on. Denim, basic tee’s and accessories are the splurges I tend to gravitate towards. If the pieces can be worn over and over again or can be remix a ton of different ways in my wardrobe then i’m all for it! Today’s post is with a look I wore last week with some of my go designer pieces that I wear to death!
You guys I have had THIS MUSCLE TEE since Ava was a baby! I have been wearing it for about 4 years now and it still looks new!
I hope you girls are all enjoying your weekend so far. It was such a gorgeous day in Laguna today. I got to sneak away for a little girls spa day to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and you officially know you’re getting old when you bag the nightlife outings and opt for 9am spa day instead. lol (but hey at least there were no hang overs right?! 😉 I’m headed to bed but wanted to do a quick post with this weeks round up of Weekend Deals + Steals for you girls! So here we go!
I have been on the hunt for a fun lace up sandals with a block heel. These beauties were restocked so I finally caved and bought them. I just bought them last week and already have worn them three times this week. They’re comfy and around under $100 HERE.
This jacket looks like my Veda one and is under $100! Perfect Transitional Jacket for Fall.
I teased THIS FUZZY DUSTER CARDIGAN on instagram and full look will be on the blog soon! I’m obsessed with it and had to snag it now before it sold out.
Can you girls believe we are in the middle of August already?! Summer is coming to a close and that means it’s time to start back to school shopping for my little ones. I’m always on the hunt for cute, great quality pieces that won’t break the bank for my babes. Today i’m teaming up with Gap Factory and sharing some super cute pieces I scored for Ava & Luca (andddd a couple of items I may have snagged for myself too!)
Anything pink is a no brainer for Ava at this stage 😉 Do you guys remember when I used to dress her like a tom boy?! Oh how I miss the days of her letting me pick out her outfits lol. Now she pretty much does all her own picking and I knew this pretty little pink ruffle tank and these fun pink metallic slips would be her first pick!
Ugh can I keep these little feet this size forever!
If you girls follow along on Instagram and snap you probably saw that we snuck aways for a quick little staycation here in Orange County a couple weekends ago. I’ve mentioned it before but this stage with Luca (at 18 months) is seriously rough with traveling. We have never done a “staycation” before but honestly don’t know why we haven’t been doing these all along! We got a babysitter for the afternoon and then the hubby and I headed to the resort for an amazzzzing KID FREE afternoon! So here’s a quick post with some random shots I wanted to share with you girls, from our staycation at the beautiful Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach.
Our room and view were absolutely gorgeous! I’m sorry I didn’t take more pictures of it to share on here but we were so anxious to to get down to the spa and pool! ( I did give a quick full tour on my SnapChat though) After we checked in we headed straight to the spa for a couples massage. I can’t tell you how many years it’s been since we’ve done one of those! The spa was so relaxing and the treatments were AMAZING!
