White Blazin’

Morning lovelies! A quick post today on an easy and fab look for Summa!! As mentioned on instagram last night i’ve never really been a shorts kind of gal. I played soccer for years and have always felt like my legs were a little too athletic. Yup i’m human over here too and have silly insecurities about myself like most girls. But its so true what they say about getting older and becoming more comfortable in your own skin. When i’m 50 I fully believe I will look back and be like “girl you should have worn more shorts, crop tops and bikinis”! 😉 How many times does a girlfriend tell you something she really doesn’t like about herself and you think she’s absolutely crazy because you never would have thought that?! We’re honestly all just way too hard on ourselves I think. So anyhow i’m trying to embrace those insecurities and sporting more shorts lately! So here we go with todays look….
I’ve posted on these shorts a million times from last year because they are my absolute favorite! They started out with a few holes and as they have been washed over the past year they have become completely thrashed and I love it! When they restocked them this year I bought them again just because I like the style so much! (linked below) I had found a dupe at Forever 21 a few months back BUT I still just always reach for these babies!
So in love with this Valentino bag! It’s such a classic bag with just enough edge!
These VB sunnies were an investment I debated for forever! They’re definitely a splurge but still have yet to find a lens this vibrant! Ray Ban makes a great budget friendly option (i’ve linked below) but just aren’t quite as vibrant/bold as these.
I came across a great look for less version of these Stuart Weitzman ankle strap sandals and posted them on The Honeybee FB page last week. They are  so similar and by another great brand that will last you for years but about half the price of these!
and lastly this blazer I purchased last month has been on serious repeat! You’ll probably see another look with it next week too! I love the cut in the front that also gives it just a little more edge!

  1. i hear ya sista! My insecurity growing up was always my "soccer legs", i.e. muscular quads. Now i love how much muscle my body is able to maintain even when not working out. After having a baby you appreciate your body so much when you get it back to prebaby, and also what it can do! im right there with you. And i think you are gorgeous, and im sure all these other ladies agree. Embrace that muscle tone & be thankful for two legs that work that run after those sweet babies. thankful for health (:

  2. Yup right there with you but nor soccer .. swimming always thought my legs were too thick and athletic … fast forward I have work more shorts in my 40s than I did in my 30s lol .. it is true you are a lot more comfortable in your own skin and literally don't care about others perception only what make you feel good and btw you do look amazing .. keep rocking those and other shorts and if they make you feel good who care what others think .. 🙂 its all about you !
