The Riviera Palm Springs

If you ladies follow me on Instagram you know we made a quick trip out to Palm Springs this weekend. My brother and mom both happened to be on the West Coast at the same time so we decided to meet in Palm Springs to hang out for the night.  I know I have a lot of local followers so I wanted to share a quick review on where we stayed.  I was a little nervous for this road trip as we weren’t able to plan it around Ava’s nap time but surprisingly she did really well! Since Palm Springs is so close to us (about 1.5 hours with no traffic) we get to go there pretty often and  have stayed at several different resorts. I have always wanted to check out the Riviera so that’s where we stayed over the weekend….
This hotel is beautifully decorated and has a Vegas meets Palm Springs vibe!
How fab is this chandelier and mirrored wall?!

The big factors I look for when booking a hotel are the rooms and crib availability. Ava is still in her crib so finding a hotel that provides actual cribs is a HUGE bonus. We also try to find a room with a separate living area. Lets face it when you’re putting your baby down to sleep at 8pm we really don’t have to go to bed at that time too 😉

As you can see the rooms at this hotel are ammmmazing! This was one of the things that drew me to The Riviera. While this hotel is a little pricey it’s perfect if you’re going with a group and sharing the cost. This suite had a pull out couch as well.
Our room had a beautiful bar and dining area
and check out our view from the patio! They also have cabanas and covered day beds for rent which we usually look into because its so hot for the babe in the sun all day.

My little Cabana girl (can’t get enough of her little ruffle bikini!  On sale at GAP now)
I forgot to take a pic of my outfit while I was there but I wore this Forever 21 Top and these
pants (which I previously posted on). These pants are seriously a steal, best $20 i’ve spent!

So all in all I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you’re going with a group of friends and are looking for a very lively/party hotel. I loved the room and was so glad they offered cribs but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re traveling with little ones. They had a great DJ at the pool during the day but it was SO loud in our room for Ava’s nap time. At night they also have a live band by the fire pits at the pool which is awesome, if you’re not trying to put you’re little one down for the night. My favorite Palm Springs hotels are still The Colony and The Viceroy but I still wanted to share this spot with you if you’re going to be kid free!

  1. Wow! That hotel looks amazing! We are always on the lookout for a hotel that is kid friendly, with enough space for our family of 5, and in a warm desert (we live in the cold mountains of AZ). We will keep this destination in mind. Love the outfit too 🙂
