San Fran Recap (and Picture overload!)

I finally uploaded the pictures from our San Francisco trip! I must say every time I go to this city I fall more and more in love! This was our first trip there with a kiddo and we had such an amazing time! One of my best friends lives there with her hubby and two beautiful kiddos so it was perfect to have little ones around for Ava!
I mean really with this view? How rad is this city?!
We have traveled a ton with Ava and feel like we have it down especially on the shorter flights.
These short flights feel like a breeze now compared to the cross country ones! Here are few things we can’t go without when flying:
Travel Checklist for little ones:
iPad (of course!) and THIS amazing case i’ve mentioned before (iPad mini case HERE)
Uppa Baby G Luxe Umbrella Stroller
Magic coloring books from Target (the one with the clear marker but makes color on the paper)
and a couple small random new toys I throw in my diaper bag when we need a distraction in a hurry.
Mama Travel Style with a little one definitely consists of comfy flats!
Rails Flannel (budget friendly HERE)
Super Sunglasses
We stayed at The St. Regis and while it wasn’t very budget friendly it was an awesome hotel with amazing service!

Our view from the room!

This trip we pretty much skipped all the touristy things (because my husband and I have done them and Ava is too young to remember so well wait till she’s much bigger to do those with her). This trip we just ate our way through San Francisco. First things first a trip to The Slanted Door is always a MUST! It’s located in the beautiful Ferry Building (along with a ton of other amazing cafes, shops and restaurants) and has a stunning view of the Bay Bridge. The Spring Rolls are the best i’ve ever had! I highly recommend checking out this spot (and making a reservation)!  The Ferry Building also does a super cute Farmers Market on Saturday and highly recommend it!

I mentioned on Instagram that is was soooo chilly when we were there so this Soup from The Slanted Door was perfect!

The pretty view from inside the restaurant!
Room Service yumminess!
Monkey’in around with miss A
and these two crack me up when they’re together. Definitely double trouble and the jokes are non stop. I had to snap a picture of them cruising down the street with their babes. They remind me of that movie with “what to expect when you’re expecting movie” lol.

My girlfriend lives in Marina and walking distance to Chestnut Street. It’s the most charming little street with great shops, restaurants and cafes! We stopped for a milk shake break at Super Duper Burgers for Ava’s first chaperoned date 😉

How cute are these two?! I could just eat them up!

A trip to the Palace of Fine Arts was awesome! This place is so gorgeous and the kiddos loved running wild through there!

these two! xoxo
My love!
and a little duck feeding
We ended our trip in a food coma at our friends new restaurant Pabu!
Can’t go wrong with a little dessert sampling!
Two days was just not enough time in this city but we’ll be heading back in a couple months so please feel free to share some of your favorite spots!!

  1. We recently moved to the USA from Canada, to NorCal so about 45 mins away from SF. I haven't heard of the Palace of Fine Arts – I wrote it down on my must-see visits for my husband and I to check out one weekend thanks to you! 🙂

  2. I love your vacation pics, thanks for sharing. Ok, so I get totally torn as to whether to wear my kicks with socks. I love the look without them, so, I have to ask. If you are wearing socks, please share what kind because they are totally no-show!
