Recent Hair Care Favorites

Alright you girls who have been around The Honeybee for a while know that I’ve worked hard over the past couple years to get my hair to a really healthy place. I’m finally feeling good about the color, length, and overall health of it (YEA!!) so wanted to share my recent hair care favorites. I kinda switch things up depending on the day or what’s needed but overall these are the products I reach for most often…

Now that my color is in good shape, I like to use Pureology’s Purple Shampoo and Conditioner (works for brunettes too) to keep away the brassiness so I use it a couple of times a month (their Hair Mask linked in the collage is awesome as well). I’ve also used Joico’s Blue Shampoo which is great and more affordable.

You girls already know about my obsession with the Dyson Air Wrap and love that it’s less damaging to hair. You can read all about that and why I’m into it HERE. It sells out quick so snatch it up when it comes in stock!

If you have pesky fly-aways, this pomade stick is a game changer! It’s becoming harder to track down but I just restocked HERE.

When I want to go straight and sleek, I love using the Steampod Straightener which uses steam and so is less heat damage- works really well too! I also own the Dyson Straightener and while it’s good I have to say I like the Steampod Straightener more…and it’s half the price!

For the months in between color appointments,  this Root Touch-up Spray.is my go to.

On days I’m super short on time and am not washing my hair, these Hot Rollers are still going strong for a quick volume fix! Love that this set is on the smaller side so it’s easy to take when you travel.

Oribe’s Superfine Hair Spray works great on my hair and doesn’t weigh things down.

Ava and I both use the Wet Brush since our hair is easily tangled and I’ve noticed a lot less breakage with it. Can’t beat the price either!

and lastly, I’ve been using this Hair Oil for over a decade now to prevent breakage and to ‘finish’ my ends. Adds a nice subtle shine too. I use these on the ends of Ava’s hair too.
