Rainy Day Mommy and Mini Style

Happy Sunday babes! I’m always excited for Sunday because The Walking Dead, Homeland and The Leftovers are all on tonight! YEAH! Oh the things we get excited about these days 😉 We’re headed out this afternoon to a little Fall school fair but wanted to post on a look from a couple weeks ago when we had some much needed rain in SoCal. Ava loves to dress like mommy and she was so excited to wear the matching rain boots.
I like to keep Ava’s little style comfy, cute and most importantly practical. I’ll be honest, trying to get this girl to wear the things I want her to wear can be a struggle on the daily. Sometimes she ends up in what I picked out for her and other days there are a million and one outfit changes and we roll out mismatched with unbrushed hair because the battle just isn’t worth it. Luckily comfy tees, leggings and matching shoes usually go on without a fuss.

If you’ve been following my blog for awhile you girls have probably seen me wearing these faux leather zippered skinnies before. I’ve had them for years and still wear them a ton! I love that they can be dressed up or down and are now on SALE !

This little lady is always on the move!
and such a big helper (most of the time;)
A lot of you had asked about this beanie on instagram a couple weeks ago. I purchased it last year from Shopbop but unfortunately it’s sold out now.  I just bought THIS ONE recently and LOVE it!
On another note some of you have also asked about Strollers (I have three different ones and feel like I should do a breakdown on all of them. If you girls are interested just comment below and let me know). This Stokke stroller is AWESOME but definitely a bit more on the pricey side.

  1. So cute and I just looooooove that beanie (and have since you first wore it last year–I think it was with a similar outfit, same jacket maybe? Under and overpass or something..?? Anyway…)

The outfits you put Ava in are just adorable, but it's sweet to hear it doesn't always work out–ha! My Mom says I was dressing myself from the age of two (how?!) — it's funny how their littler personalities develop so fast.

Lastly, I'm here on the daily but don't always comment so hope you're having a great weekend, Andee.

  2. Love your mom-style Andee! It's great to see how effortless you make it look to stay stylish while still comfortable and able to be active with the kiddos! I have my second on the way very soon, can't wait to get back to my normal body and wear my real clothes! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Would love and appreciate if you did a breakdown of the 3 strollers you use. I'm a new mom and use a lot of your recommendations. Also your style is on point. Can't wait to do the same with my daughter. Thank you for your blog, great stuff!
