OOTD Leather Peplum

 I’ve been on the hunt for a (faux) leather peplum top for months! I struggled to find one that I liked the fit without being super expensive. When I came across this one at Zara I knew I had to snag it! Here’s another black and white combo I wore a couple weeks ago….

These pants are super hard to track down but I managed to find these two (although only limited sizes left). You may also want to try ebay or my local ladies can try American Rag at Fashion Island.

  1. Love that peplum! I look on Zara online and I guess it's sold out 🙁 I have a question, since you live in such a hot place do you wear sunscreen every day? if so, what SPF do you use? I remember you said you don't like tanning.

    1. I do tan every once in awhile but I always use SPF when I'm at the pool or beach. Also my makeup and tinted moisturizer pretty much always has an SPF in it.

  2. Another outfit of the day look I absolutely love, especially because I have that pants, but only in black. Also, in third picture somehow to me you look like a sophisticated lawyer, haha, might be the bag. But I absolutely love your style. Very inspiring!!!

    1. Sorry to make an additional note but in my hunt for some wide leg Hudson's I've noticed some Gwen's have normal pockets and some have the stitched drop kind (on the front I mean)… Is that just me??? I don't think I ever noticed urs having anything but regular pockets. Sorry random lol 🙂 thanks as always!

    2. thanks Kelly I got the XS. As far as the Hudsons i know what you mean. Some of the older styles have faux front pockets but mine have actual pockets xo

    1. lol youre so sweet thank love! You know I'm not sure what the camera is because i had an actual photographer take these but ill try to ask next time 😉

  6. Love this outfit!!! I wouldn't have thought to put a peplum top with wide leg pants, but I really love it!! I actually bought these pants a couple weeks ago and absolutely love them! Can't wait to give this look a try!

I have been following your blog for a while now and really appreciate your posts about healthy eating. You have motivated me to start eating clean. I used to have a pretty bad diet, full of fried foods and tons of carbs. I have been really stressed out over school the past year and have gained about 20 pounds. I feel horrible about my body. Your posts are really helping me get back on track with my eating and knowing what kind of foods I should buy. All of the suggestions you make are also delicious! I am getting married next year and would really like to lose 30-40 pounds. Can you please write a post on foods/meals that are ok to eat and foods that are not good for you in terms of weight gain? This would really help. I would also like to know what you eat your morning cereal. I am having a hard time figuring out whether having soy milk, almond milk or skim milk is best to have with my cereal every morning. Thanks so much hun <3

    1. wow thank you so much especially for taking the time to write that! Ill do a healthy food break down post soon and its all about a balance and portion sizes are key. As for my cereal I pretty much always have it with unsweetened Vanilla almond milk. I tried soy but that didn't sit well with me. xo
