My Summer Makeup Must Haves

If you caught my Insta Stories yesterday I shared a quick beauty tutorial on my go-to flirty/fresh Summer makeup look. I received several DM’s about the products I used to create this look so today I’m breaking them all down and sharing my current summer makeup must-haves!

Chances are you’ve probably seen several of these products on my site before. Once I find products I love, they tend to stick in my rotation for years to come (like this bronze/highlighter duo and this concealer) . All of these products in today’s post are from  Nordstrom (because let’s be honest, you can pretty much always find what you’re looking for there and their return policy is so easy). For this makeup look, it’s all about fresh, flirty and a little bit of glow. It’s my go-to look if we’re going out somewhere nice during the daytime and want a little pop of color on my eyes that’s still appropriate and not too over the top for daytime. So let’s break it all down…..

makeup must haves

I started out using this super lightweight natural-looking foundation in 30 Beige. It’s a new foundation I started using about six months ago and really love it. It gives a nice amount of coverage without feeling heavy and stays in place all day.

Next bring on the bronze for Summer! Charlotte Tilbury is one of my all-time favorite brands and I honestly haven’t been disappointed with any of their products yet. I have so many staples in my drawer and this Airbrush Flawless Bronzer is amaze! It was just restocked and I use the color Medium 2. I use it to contour under my cheekbones, down the sides of my nose and around my hairline to help frame my face.

As for highlighters, I have several favorites but this one is a go-to for a dewy glow and this highlight/bronzer duo is a must if you want something super natural looking.

Makeup Must Haves

The most asked DM yesterday was definitely about the products I used on my eyes and you guys NEED this cream shadow! I have it in both colors and am obsesssssed! I used the rose gold one yesterday on my lids and then just used the same bronzer that I used to contour in the crease. It’s such an easy combo that packs a pretty punch and finished with a thin swipe of this liquid liner.

On the lips, I like to enhance my natural lip a but and am wearing this gloss in the color 500 Urge with this lip pencil in Love Trap.

and those are all the products I used to create yesterday’s makeup look and hope this breakdown was helpful!
