My Beachy Waves Hair Routine with Pantene Pro V

Alright loves, today we’re tackling one of my most requested posts….my hair care regimen! Even as a busy mama of two I still try to keep myself somewhat pulled together (most days at least ) so today I’m sharing my  easy go-to beach waves hair routine! So let’s get to it!

I’m currently using and loving  Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Nourishing Shampoo and a Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Hydrating Conditioner.

I  grew up using Pantene Pro-V products and love the way they make my hair smell. They’re great quality and it’s always a bonus that they’re budget friendly too! My hair tends to be a bit on the dry side so I really love how the Daily Moisture Renewal line makes my hair feel soft and hydrated (especially on the ends) and protects my hair against damage.

After I wash and condition with Pantene, I towel dry my hair. When my hair is about 70% dry I use a round brush and my blow dryer to tame my natural waves. Next I section off my hair into three sections…top, middle and bottom.

Starting with the bottom section first I take one inch sections and wrap the hair around my 1.5 inch curling iron (I swear by this curling iron!) rolling away from my face. My hair doesn’t hold curl very well so if I want it to last longer (I used this smaller barrel iron) I spray each section with a bit of hair spray before I curl it. I usually hold it on each individual section for 5-10 seconds.

I then open the clamp and let the section slide into my hand (keeping it still in the wrapped circular shape) and hold it there to cool for a few seconds. I find the curl holds a little longer when I allow the section to cool in place. After the bottom section is done I continue the same steps on the middle section and finish up with the top section.

Lastly I give one good hair spray all over and run my fingers through the curls to loosen them up for  effortless everyday beach waves. After each pregnancy I get these random regrowth of baby hairs along my hairline. When they start to grow out they stick straight up! I tame these flyways by adding a dab of Pantene’s Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner.

I hope this was helpful for you ladies and please let me know if you have any other hair questions!

  1. Love this hair post! Will definitely replicate at home. Your winged eyeliner is perfect too…you should also do a tutorial on that! My line always comes out wobbly.

  2. How often do you wash your hair? I know it's better to wash as little as possible, but if you have a daily workout routine and sweat it makes that challenging. Any tips or tricks to extend a wash?

  3. Your hair always looks so beautiful so thank you for a sneak peek into your routine. Do you wash regularly or just every few days? That's definitely something I've struggled with since having the wee guy – I feel like I don't have the time to wash, blow-dry and then curl in one go unless I am up at the crack of dawn. Trying to do it with a toddler in the bathroom is disaster-zone lol
