With the holidays here I was on the hunt for a fun gold pigment. I found the perfect one by Makeup Forever only to go home, put it on and realize it wasn’t as dramatic as I had hoped…
All in all it was still a good purchase because its definitely a great daytime look Ill actually get more wear out of! I can always spice it up by tapping a little gold glitter on top or using my NYX gold glitter liner with it as well. 
Products used:
Loreal True Match foundation (in W6),Mac moisture cover concealer, Chanel bronzer, Laura Mercier blush in lush nectarine, Sephora jumbo liner in gold (as base), MUFE Gold pigment #3 (all over the lid), Mac Mulch (in the outer corner),NYX black liner in the waterline, ardell lashes and NYX natural lip liner with lip gloss from Victoria Secret.

even though makeup forever does last forever, I find that it isn't usually as "pigment-y" as others, I assume that might be for the "high def look".

I recreated a similar look this morning with the Urban Decay Naked pallett. It was definitely more of a daytime look and not as dramatic as it would be with gold liner too, but still a festive daytime look! Thanks for the inspiration xoxo

I use L'oreal true match on all of my clients- that stuff is the bomb, inexpensive, super blendable and so many good shades! Remind me which Ardell strip lashes you use- they always look so good!

@JennySue agreed! Its my favorite drug store foundation as i feel it is my closest color match and the lashes are the "whipsies".
I've always thought gold would look gordy on me, but you definitely pulled it off really well. So the color didn't pop as night makeup, but it sure does add a touch of the season on you.Love the lashes too – very natural!

@anonymous thank you! Current reds I love are Revlons Love that red (bright red) and Dubonnet from Mac (deeper red) Also love using Macs Auburn lip liner pencil with chapstick as well.

Hi Andee, I found your blog about a month ago and I love it! I have a beauty question – my eyelashes are falling out and I would like to try wearing false lashes but I can't seem to get the hang of getting them to blend/line up with my lash line. Do you have any tricks or tips for application? Your lashes always look so natural.
