Life Lately Via the Camera Roll (and instagram Round Up)

I can’t believe that tomorrow is the first day in March already! February went by in a blink but here are some random shots on my camera roll ( and some instagram round up shots for you girls who were asking don’t have liketoknow.it access to my outfits from insta)
Pretty valentines sweets for my little love! I got a box of chocolate amazingness for the hubby and we pretty much dominated it within 2 mins!
Every little holiday is SO much more fun now that I get to do little festive things for Ava. I know how much I enjoyed them as a kid so I want to be able to make those simple and sweet little memories for my babes too! (ps how cute are these little paper plates from Target?!)
The hubby nailed it with his arrangement this year. I didn’t want roses or anything big this Valentines, just something little and special. He came home with this beautiful and creative arrangement from the kids and it was SO sweet and perfect!

We’re so busy these days that honestly just any alone time we get together is BEYONDDD appreciated. We kept our Vday date simple and had dinner with our babes and then got a sitter for date night. We went to movie theatre in Newport that has the reclining seats and all these ammmmmazing treats! I mean can we talk about their cheesecake selection?! They also offer a full bar and the best part is you can tell them a time and they will deliver your cocktail and food to you during your movie!

All about those bombers! THIS ONE is under $50 HERE. Wearing it with my High Lo Thermal (I own it in three colors…great staple)
My everyday Mama Kicks (also available in a really pretty blush color HERE)
Running errands in My Sneaks, Vegan Leather Leggings (I’m wearing a small…and probably could have done a medium as well. If you’re between sizes I would recommend going with the larger of the tow) and Proenza Schouler bag.

If you follow along on Instagram and snapchat you girls probably saw we took a last minute trip out the desert and stayed at The Ritz in Rancho Mirage. I had never stayed here before but the property was gorgeous. It’s a little further out and not right in downtown Palm Springs but it was super family friendly and the service was great! (FYI this place is a little on the pricey side though) I shared so much more of this beautiful space on SnapChat but here are a few more shots.

Spent the morning having coffee here while the rug rats ran around!
Pretty Pool View
and Spicy Strawberry Margi’s at the family pool 😉
i’m a sucker for evenings in the desert! I actually lived in the desert for a few years when I was younger so it always brings me back every time we visit.
Distressed White Boyfriends (sold out similar HERE and a budget friendly under $60 HERE) // Neutral Suede// Gold Sneaks  // Denim Shirt (LOVE This One and similar HERE for $55)
Ugh you guys I have been so emotional lately about this little guy! He started walking and it kind of makes me sad because we’re pretty sure were done having babies and every little milestone just reminds me this may be the last “first” you know?!
One of my must have Mac staples is this eyeshadow in Mulch! Also wearing this foundation ( in 3.0),  my favorite concealer (in Ocre), this brow set (in Dark), This lipliner (in Liar) with a little bit of chapstick , this highlight and contour kit, and this liquid liner.
If you’ve been following my blog/insta for awhile you girls know I have been coveting these sandals! I couldn’t find them anywhere in the Flat Nude Color in my size last year. I saw them last month restocked and immediately snatched them up! Also available in Metallic HERE, White HERE, and Black HERE. Ladies i’m so in love and they’re even more gorgeous in person! I would choose these flats any day over the RockStud heel version i’ve seen everywhere. That being said they’re not budget friendly soooo I also found this look for less HERE and HERE for you girls.
I wore them all day yesterday (with my new sunnies too) and they were super comfortable!
Sneaker Chic Date Night Style (My hubby’s favorite;)
Happy Monday loves! Hope you all have a great week!

  1. Hey Andee,
I know you have stayed at a lot of hotels in Palm Springs and I'm trying to plan a trip out there with our 3 year old girl. Which hotel do you like the best for families? I'm thinking either La Quinta resort or the Ritz. Do you prefer one? I heard the rooms at La Quinta are a little older?
    thanks so much!
    Mary-

    1. Hi Mary!
Thats a tough call because they are both very family friendly. The Ritz is newer and so the rooms are nicer but its also more expensive. La Quinta is much bigger with several different restaurants (and if your little one has a scooter I would definitely bring if you stay there because all the kids cruise around). I think they did also revamp some of the rooms at La Quinta as well. If you google The Honeybee Palm Springs you can see all my recaps and pics that may help make your decision. Hope this helps! xo
