I’m not going to lie it takes A LOT more energy these days to make the haul up to LA for a girls night then it did pre baby. I’m sure many of you mamas can relate! After running errands, taking care of the babe all day, making sure the hubby has his dinner and the babe is bathed and put down for the night i’m beyond exhausted! After all that the last thing I want to think about is going upstairs and getting all dolled up. I’d be lying if I said the thought didn’t cross my mind of bailing on my friends (again), throwing on my jama’s and starting up the TiVo!
All that being said I once I do finally get myself ready and head out I am always SO glad I did. Making a little time for my girlfriends (and myself) is something that I feel is SO important and healthy for you. It definitely doesn’t happen nearly half as much as it used but I can safely say I appreciate a girls night out like I have never have before!
If you follow me on instagram (@andeelayne) you saw I went up to LA last week to rally with my girlfriends and we had such a fun time! Here are some random shots from that night and other randoms on the camera roll….
Which ended up resulting in this at 3 am! My girlfriends know what a healthy eater I am so anytime we have a girls night they try to sabotage me with pizza and dessert! (Literally it is their mission 😉 This time I didn’t put up much of a fight. lol

thanks hun!! we stayed at the Hollywood Roosevelt because we were on that side of town. Its nice and tends to have some cheaper deals compared to the other hotels. Also a great spot when its warm as they have a nice pool of and a great bar inside called the Spare Room!

no i dont go to LA very often anymore but when I do we stay the night. And yes I'm SO thankful for a hubby who doesnt mind giving me a girls night every now and then!
This reminds me that I need to call my gfs. Sometimes I do bail on them (and other events) because I am just too darn tired by the end of the day. BUT, when I do go out, I always have the time of my life and need to do this more often. Looks like you had a blast!
PS – When I go out with the girls, it usually ends up with a drive to some taco shack or Whataburger (it's a fast food place) at 3am. Gotta soak up the alcohol! 🙂
