How I’m Keeping My Skin Hydrated This WInter

I don’t know about you girls but my skin always tends to need a little extra TLC during the Winter months. Even in sunny SoCal, my skin still feels a little bit drier and duller lately. L’Occtaine has been a staple in our household (since before we had the kiddos) and I’m so excited to be teaming up with them and sharing some awesome products that have been helping keep my skin hydrated during these drier months.

Though I’ll throw different brands in here and there, I’ve always liked the idea of making my skincare routine minimal. You know, not using a bunch of different brands with ingredients that might not work well together. I just find that my skin likes when it’s taking in one skincare line created to work together.

Since it is winter and the air is dry (and hope all you East Coast girls are staying warm in those crazy temps!), I’m sure we can all agree HYDRATION is key! I’m a big fan of shea butter for my whole body, so when I heard that L’Occitane had an entire skincare line based on it, I knew I wanted to try. Turns out, the line carries everything from face oil to lip balm to a comforting mist and more. And they have a new 3-in-1 cleanser coming out that I was able to try and am OBSESSED with.

Especially on a shoot day, I wear a lot of makeup, and the cleanser actually gets it all off at once.  I always want to make sure I’m wiping off pollutants and fully clearing my skin, and I feel like this cleanser does that without totally stripping my skin. If you want to go one step further, The Cleansing Oil is so amazing and it even get’s off my waterproof mascara!

The Shea Butter Light Comforting Cream is formulated with 5% Shea Butter and perfect for sensitive to dry skin. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, soft and most importantly not oily or greasy.

While I opt for the Shea Butter Light Comforting Cream, my hubby uses the Shea Butter Ultra Rich Formulated Cream. His Skin is very dry so the high content of 25% Shea Butter definitely works wonders on him.

You really can’t go wrong with any L’Occtaine products but this whole line helped my skin tremendously this winter. It was a godsend when we were in the mountains a few weeks ago. I even put a little on Ava when her skin was drying out – she loved it of course 🙂

So if you girls are having trouble with dry skin or are looking to condense your skincare, check out L’Occitane and let me know what you think. Don’t forget to check out the 3-in-1 cleanser – my favorite!

Thank you L’Occtaine for sponsoring this post
