My Fall Essentials

Happy Friday loves! Life has been busy busy busy around here lately! Were heading out of town this weekend (and the weather there is calling for Rain boooo! Don’t you hate that when you plan a beach getaway and as you’re getting ready to leave and its supposed to rain everyday?!) Here’s to hoping for a little sunshine! On another note all these damn NYFW pictures have me itching to buy some pieces for Fall. Even though its still CRAZY hot here in SoCal here are my Fall essentials I can’t wait to start wearing…..

You can’t go wrong with long cardigans, thermals for layering, off the shoulder tops and moto jackets! I recently purchased that purple wrap on the bottom right and LOVE it (use code word PSWFALL25 for 25% off at revolve!)  I also snagged that free people sweatshirt in the top row and can wait to wear it!

Hats, hats and more hats…bring em’ on! I ordered that camel wide brim fedora in the top row and am loving these oversized beanies!

And boots are by far my favorite part of Fall! Most of these aren’t that budget friendly but the first pair in the top and bottom row are from Steve Madden. As it gets closer to Fall i’ll do a more budget friendly boot post!

I think its safe to say you ladies are excited for Fall as well?!! Have a great weekend!

  2. I got a sweatshirt/denim jacket just like that at Target today for under $35. I've been wanting one for years. So in love with it!

  3. ughhh I want the Givenchy boots, I shall have them in my dreams!!! The weather here is definitely fall already and I started layering about two weeks ago.

How do you guys ever wear fall/winter clothes in Cali though Andee? I remember travelling to LA in Feb a few years ago and it was def summer. I could not imagine wearing boots in that kinda weather at all but then I'm Canadian 😀

  4. Andee, Would love to know what size you ordered the free people sweatshirt? I am torn between the xs and s as I know free people can run large.

    Thanks!

  5. I agree with the above comment! I live in Canada and it gets soo cold here by mid october I always laugh at those who live in Cali and are like "i love fall" "I love scarves and boots" LOL whaaat? you mean 80 degrees in December is Fall to you? maybe its just me!

  6. Love love love it all!!! That last pair of boots?! To die! And I bought my first slouch beanie this year, can't wait to bust it out! 😉 Love your picks mama!!

Fall Essentials

These Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent suede over the knee boots are perfection! I have the Report Signature leather over the knee boots and LOVE them! I want to invest in a suede pair so they are more wearable for daytime and these are exactly what I am looking for. They are available at shopbop.com for $425 ( if that price tag is a little steep Zappos.com has a very similar style by steve madden called focuss )

Im loving this shearling vest by Plastic Island! Its such an easy way to glam up any oufit! Its $150 at shopbop.com

Cape’s are a huge Fall trend and this is my version of easing into it. This hooded cape has sleeves and I can definitely see myself wearing this. Its available at Nastygal.com

BB Dakota has made a more affordable asymmetrical jacket. I purchased a VEDA one last year and am obsessed with it but it also came with a much larger price tag on it. This one is $238 at shopbop.com. Great Jacket you will wear all Fall and Winter long!

I purchased this Cable knit sweater from asos.com earlier this week and cant wait to get it! I love how its cropped in the front and longer in the back. Great twist on a classic sweater!

  2. thanks girls! @ashli tell me about it! doing a blog is trouble because you are always inspired and shopping hahah! @daisy im impressed your making a cape!!! cant wait to see it! wish I could do that! xo

  3. Just wanted to say that I love your blog! You have lovely style and I especially enjoy the recipes you post. BTW, you are ABSOLUTELY stunning girl! Please do a post on your health/fitness routine and your beauty routine.

    Thanks!
    🙂

  4. The cropped sweater looks so comfy! I can totally see it being worked into a hot outfit. The boots are to die for. as for the second pic of the cape, i'm really trying to appreciate it but i just can't see it on me. pregnant or un pregnant. I can't wait to see how you wear it. The model in the pic is pretty though. LOL. Assymetrical jacket is nice too. I'm actually looking for a nice shearling vest. I'm going between seude/sherling/fur. I dont know what to pick. i know it'll be black. thats just a staple of my wardrobe but I need to find one that suits my small frame.

    lovely post as always

  5. Asymmetrical jacket + over the knee high boots = love!!!! It's heading into the warmer seasons over here but I still don't want to let go of my jacket and boots 🙁

  6. I just got an email from Trend Boutique about another pair of Cynthia Vincent leather boots, which I was drooling over. You make a good point about suede being more versatile though. I'm saving money for a pair of nice boots this winter, so these will join the list 🙂 thanks!

  7. I love ALL of these…and I am impressed with you finding such great pieces on shopbop. I love that site but usually love the really expensive stuff. Both the shearling and leather jacket are pretty reasonable! Good work.

  8. I was inspired by the photos of you in your over the knee boots and found a pair of suede black over the knee boots at DSW by Restricted last Spring. I have yet to wear them but now that fall is just around the corner I can't wait!!! Thanks for the inspiration!
