Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue // POPSUGAR Summer Soiree

Over the weekend I ventured up to LA to attend the POPSUGAR Summer Soiree to celebrate Dolce&Gabbana’s iconic Light Blue fragrance. It took place at a stunning residence in the Hollywood Hills with an absolutely incredible view! It rarely rains in SoCal, but of course on this day for this pool party the rain came pouring down! Even in the rain this property was still stunning! Crisp whites and Mediterranean blues were the perfect fit to celebrate the Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue fragrance!

It was such an awesome event, and let’s just say this mama definitely appreciated an afternoon of meeting up with some other lovely bloggers, having a little champagne and sampling some yummy scents!
Keeping with the “blue” theme I wore this comfy blue cut out maxi dress (full post to come soon!).
The Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue fragrance has been a favorite of mine for years. It’s fresh, feminine and not overpowering. It’s fruity floral scent of crisp apple and a hint of jasmine makes for the perfect perfume that can be worn all day and into those warm Summer nights.
This year they’ve also released two new scents, Sunset in Salina for women and Swimming in Lipari for men. Those names alone just make you want to book a trip to the Aeolian Islands, right?! 😉
Sunset in Salina is a fresh floral fragrance with soft ambery notes and Swimming in Lipari has hints of grapefruit and complex notes of dry woods and is definitely a scent I’d love to smell on my hubby!
Needless to say, they were all pretty amazing! If you haven’t already, you should check them out and purchase them now at Sephora!
