Bomber Jacket // “Cool Mom” Style

Today we’re talking “cool mom” style 😉 I always crack up when I think of the mom in “Mean Girls” and how she referred to herself as a “cooool mom”.  But in all seriousness I don’t know what it is about becoming a mom where people just assume you’re going to suddenly turn frumpy and all your style goes out the window. YESSS your priorities are different and practicality plays a huge roll more than ever before, but having a sense of self/style was something that was really important to me. So I  try my best to pull myself together as much as I can ;). Today’s look is one that I would have lived in pre-kids but I still rock for kid-free outings…..

Actually this is an outfit I would wear out with the kids too (I wore a similar look in THIS POST with Luca a few weeks ago). I would just have to swap out the heels for some cool sneaks like THESE and THESE.

I’m OBSESSED with bomber jackets! They’re warm, super comfy and add a bit of edge to an outfit!
My new peep toe ankle booties! They’re suprisingly really comfortable and now apart of Bloomingdale’s 25% Off Promo!

I’m also a big fan of “not so basic” basics. I LOVE these kind of tops where the material is super soft and it has a little something different like this one with a tulip hem. I also own couple of these knotted front basics in the short sleeve version and long sleeve version.

Bomber Jacket from Topshop (and I may or may not have purchased this green one too 😉 // Tulip Hem Tee // Distressed Skinnies // Peep Toe Ankle Boots (currently on 25% OFF promo HERE) // Balenciaga Bag (look for less I love HERE) // Saint Laurent Sunglasses (sold out but another favorite HERE and HERE) // New favorite nail polish color HERE

  1. I love this outfit and you look to die in it! And I totally agree with you. Yes you certainly have to put a little more effort in with kiddies, but if it's important then it matters 🙂 xx
