Black on Black

Hi lovelies! Today’s look is one of my favorite and easiest combos ever…black on black on black 😉 Make it a black cropped Sweater and black high waist leather skirt to make it just that much better!
It’s still pretty warm here so I wore mine with ankle strap sandals, but you can easily take this look into Winter by pairing it with some patterned tights and wedge boots!
High-Low cropped sweater from Forever21
Faux leather skater skirt from Nasty Gal
My new favorite sunnies by Karen Walker
Ankle strap sandals by Steve Madden
and Proenza Schouler Bag

  1. Love the outfit!!! Thank you for posting this, this skirt is actually on my sister's xmas list and I will have to get the sweater to go as well. Can you tell me what you are wearing on your cheeks and lips, please? You have a gorgeous glow!

  2. Nothing to do with the post but I am a new mom of a 4 week old and I was looking over at your posts when Ava was born and you seemed so put together! I am so overwhelmed with breastfeeding and sleeping schedules, etc! Any tips?

    1. you're kind love but don't worry I was definitely struggling the first month or so after I had Ava. I battled the baby blues but forced myself to pull myself together somewhat everyday. Breastfeeding and the crazy sleep schedule is NO joke! My best advice is to hang in there…it will get easier as each week passes. Take advantage if you have family around to help for an hour so don't go crazy 😉

  3. Can you say PERFECTION? this look is deff one of my faves! Girl where is your gorgeous wedding ring in all these professional shoots?! It's so pretty!

  4. Love all black, errthang! How is it that you are a mommy? You look fabulous! 🙂
Would you mind posting more on how you did your cheese platter (wine pairings, etc) from a few posts back? Thanks so much!

  5. Andee this is super random. I just read this amazing poem by Ina Hughes called "A prayer for children" You NEED to read it as a mama it will make the hard days worth it. I tear up just reading it now. Also a great passage by Michael Josephson called "live a life that matters". Let me know what you think! By the way I love this outfit 🙂
