Summer is here and let’s just say it’s pretty much my favorite time to entertain! The weather is perfect in the evenings and I love the no fuss casual vibe of Summer get togethers! That being said I had some girlfriends over earlier this week and wanted to share some shots of the fun and causal spread I put together with some goodies I picked up from Urban Outfitters home section a few weeks ago! A yummy cheese plate, some homemade sangria and a few sweets with my girls was the perfect way to end the weekend!
I was browsing the home/apartment section on the site and came across SO many cute pieces! I had been on the hunt for a round cheese plate and this marble one was exactly what I had in mind! I also purchased the matching bread plate!
I snatched up this fun vibrant beach blanket and used it as a table cover and also purchased these fun colored glass tumblers and decided to use them as candle holders. I love the way the looked, especially at night.

I also bought two strands of these mini laterns and had them hung at the top up our patio table umbrella and around the base. It added just a little bit of charm and looked so good cute once the sun set.
For cocktails I wanted something light and refreshing and lets just say this sangria did not disappoint! I found the recipe on Pinterest but simplified it even more and will do a full post on it soon! This 3 mason jar utensil set is from Urban Outfitters as well but I decided to fill it with fresh fruit to add to the sangria (and just to munch on).
Lastly to end the night a few sweets and I couldn’t pass up these fun candles! I also got this set for my husband’s next birthday too 😉
Next up in the home department, my jewelry table is in need of some SERIOUS TLC! I came across some really cute jewelry storage and display cases at Urban Outfitters too! Here are a few i’m eyeing….
