Hellllllo lovelies! I definitely have Katy Perry ” Cali-for-nia Girls ” song stuck in my head with this look this morning 😉 I have to admit I tend to gravitate toward all black ensembles and think I feel most myself in boyfriend jeans and more tom boy styles butttt that being said I don’t really have one set type of “style”. I like to play around all kinds of different looks, colors and vibes all the time. Isn’t that one of the perks of being a girl is that we get to carry our love of dress up as kids over into adult life?! 😉 I love how a pop of color goes a long way so today it’s all about this vibrant yellow top and white denim for Summer!
I’m feeling brave for venturing back into white skinnies postpartum. I’m not quite back to my pre pregnancy shape/weight but happy with my progress so far so not stressing on these last few lbs. I know they’ll come off eventually when I step up my workout routine (more on that soon). Luckily these distressed J brands are good quality with just enough stretch for a flattering fit. I’m loving the cropped style perfect for Summer!
Joie makes the BEST pieces and it’s safe to say I fell in love with this open shoulder top as soon as I saw it! I know their stuff can be a little pricey so I included a more budget friendly option below too!
You can wear this look for afternoon lunchin’ with girlfriends or for a date night! It’s fun and flirty without being overdone!

I'm just like you, I feel best in my good old black ensemble, although I'm trying to incorporate more color lately, and this seems like a perfect set! I don't even own any white jeans, but ever since moving to California for Summer, they seem like a necessity 😉

Im wearing MUFE HD foundation, Maybelline stick foundation for subtle contour and Hourglass ambient palette for highlight. On my eyes I'm wearing amber lights eyeshadow from Mac and NYC liquid liner. On the lips its Mac velvet teddy lipstick. Hope this helps! xo
