Our Finished Master Bathroom Remodel

Alright ladies lets not even discuss how long I have been meaning to get this post up;) but I’m finally sharing our bathroom remodels with you girls. It’s something we have gone back and forth about doing for a long time but finally pulled the trigger to start the process late last year. Let me just start by saying that Ive done upgrades/remodels before but doing construction while you are actually living in the house is quite the ordeal. I didn’t think that the bathrooms would be that bad but to be honest, it turned out to be a long two months. With two very active kids and juggling nap times with serious demolition going on was hard. Even with that being said I am SO happy we did it and absolutely love how they turned out.
This post is major pic overload so I am just posting on my Master bathroom today and will share our guest bathroom next week. I have a few “before” pictures that I will try to upload again to this post later but am having an issue with my photo shop program (they are pretty dark pics and wanted to bring the light up for you). If you girls want to see them now I am going to share them on my SnapChat (Andee Layne). But here is the final product of our master bath remodel…….
Andee Bathroom-1

I am a huge fan of light and bright so we went big with white Calcutta marble on the counter tops and bath and an almost all white marble for the shower. For paint we used one of my favorite colors, Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter. We pretty much changed everything in the bathroom and only kept the cabinets. We did floors, bath and shower tile, new hardware, new counter tops, crown molding, new paint and light fixtures!

Our paint is actually a bit more grey than these pictures show but I just love how fresh and bright it turned out!

I’m a huge fan of pivot mirrors and these are from Restoration Hardware and the light fixtures above are from Pottery Barn.

We went really big with the all glass shower door. I personally love it but the hubby says he thinks we should have gone with a shorter one.

I knew I had to have this towel rack as soon as I saw it! We were forever throwing our towels all over this place so this was such a great buy for us. (also from Restoration Hardware…can you tell we love that store)

So that is our newly renovated master bath post! Again i’m SO sorry it has taken me a million years to put these pictures up! I know some of you girls have been asking for forever! I’m going to attempt to reload the “before” picture later this afternoon if I can get my photoshop program to load…but will post them on snap chat now for those of you who want to see them now.

Part two with our guest bathroom pics will be on The Honeybee next week!

Working out how much a remodeling project will cost is always one of the most difficult parts of the process for me. But this estimator tool helped me with my last project: https://mykukun.com/cost-guide/bathroom-remodel-cost/
