This year I’m all about the personalized gift box! Think of it as an updated, more sophisticated version of the corporate gift basket that you receive from your accountant each Christmas. It’s a more thoughtful way of gifting if you’re ready to change up from the standard gift card gift. The presentation helps make the gift even more special so it doesn’t have to be the most expensive gift in the world. The thought and time you took to make it look extra special is what counts! Whether it’s a hostess gift, for you boss, teacher, co worker or neighbor… i’m sharing three different crowd pleasing personalized gift boxes!
I really LOVE this post because it’s something i’ve been wanting to put together for you girls and finally got a chance to do it this year! What I love about giving a gift box is all the presentation that goes with it. You can add ribbon, flowers, greenery, personalized tags, almost anything to add some zhuzh (yes, this is how you spell it, I had to look it up)! I know it’s last call for Christmas gifts so thought I would add these ideas in the gift giving mix!
First things first let’s talk gift box under $50! A bottle of bubbly, some coasters and festive glasses are pretty much a crowd pleaser across the board. I added in a champagne stopper because they are one of my favorite gifts to give! They’re one of those random things you forget to buy but if you had one, I promise you’d use it all the time! I love this gift idea for a hostess (just a little more thoughtful than showing up with a bottle of wine) or it would be a great for a girlfriend too.
For the Teachers
How do teachers do it? Seriously, as a mama I’m wondering how you handle my kids plus like 25 more? For this box, I put together all things calming to help teachers get through the day with a little less stress. They definitely deserve it!
For teachers there were so many things that came to mind. I think it will vary slightly depending on age and how many teachers you have to buy for but i’m loving this one I’m giving to Ava’s teacher this year. A chic glass tea kettle, loose leaf tea, some essential oils and an essential oil diffuser were at the top of my list to give. Basically anything de stressing would probably come in handy. Ava told me her teacher also drinks a lot of green juices so I gave her a gift card to a local juicery as well.
(if you’re a teacher please feel free sharing what you reallllly like to receive and help us mama’s out!)
Okay, so this box is technically “for him” but I kind of want it for myself. It’s catered to the cocktail connoisseur in your life. This personalized gift box will definitely impress your boss, neighbor, uncle or just about anyone who appreciates a goooood cocktail! I went with Gin because it always seems to be a crowd pleaser. Just add in a craft cocktail book, some bar tools, cocktail glasses and a couple fresh ingredients ready for the making and you’re sure to impress! You could do this with tequila, bourbon or whatever their favorite spirit is and just change up the add ons accordingly.
Okay I hope this gave you girls a few more elevated ideas for holiday gifting this year!!
