My Beauty Staples from the Sephora Sale

I don’t know about you girls, but whenever Sephora is having a sale, I’m first in line. Beauty products add up (especially if you’re obsessed like me ;)) so I’m always looking for sales to do my major beauty hauls. I actually get a majority of my beauty staples at Sephora, so that’s my go-to if they’re having a big sale. And lucky for all of us, they just started a MAJOR SALE! Here are the details:

August 24-29: 20% off for Rouge members, using YESROUGE at checkout.

August 30-Sept 3: 15% off for VIB members, using code YESVIB, and 10% off for Beauty Insider Members using YESINSIDER.

If you girls aren’t a member yet, it’s super easy to join their Beauty Insider Program. Just sign up right here (takes 2 seconds) and then you can get the 10% off!

Now, as for what I’m shopping for! I’ll break down each area that I’m stocking up for below, but first, these are the 5 beauty staples I can’t live without – and obviously restocking this week.

Beauty Staples

Laura Mercier Foundation – Such a great foundation! A little goes a long way and it’s that perfect blend of matte and dewy, plus lasts all day. Great coverage but not cakey. Her tinted moisturizer is amazing too for even lighter coverage.

Laura Mercier Primer w/ SPF – I’ve tried literally every primer and this is the best. Gives a good little glow and helps makeup stay put so well. Plus, gotta have that SPF!

Laura Mercier Setting Powder – Can you tell I’m obsessed with LM face makeup?! 🙂 It’s that good! I lightly apply this setting powder with a fluffy brush after doing my full face. It helps everything stay in place and keeps oil away. Pro tip: Dab a little over your eyelids to keep liner and shadow from creasing.

If you buy one thing from the SALE it will be THESE PETER ROTH THOMAS PADS! If you’ve been following along you know I’m obsessed with these and they truly are the best skincare product with the most bang for your buck!

Peter Roth Thomas Cucumber Pads – Heaven for mamas or really any of you girls who need a little help in the a.m. because you know I do. Gets rid of lines, puffiness and dark circles and feels amazinggg. I keep mine in my fridge for extra coolness.

T3 Curling Iron + Hot Rollers – Hair staples 100%. This is my fave curling iron for effortless beach waves, and these hot rollers are great for on-the-go days when you want a little body and wave. Super easy! I brought them to Cayman with me and love that this set is slightly smaller and perfect to travel with!

Too Faced sent me this palette last year and it’s seriously my most used palette!

And for even more beauty staples from Sephora…

Hair Staples

Rosarco Leave-in Conditioner Spray – Obsessed with this detangler! Even use it on the kids, great for curls or all kinds of hair.

Dry Shampoo (Dark Hair) – For all you girls that are brunette like me, this dry shampoo is the best! No white residue.

Skincare Staples

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream – My holy grail heavy moisturizer. The best!

Kiehl’s Recovery Serum – I apply this a few times a week on top of the cream to restore skin and give it hydration.

These Dr. Dennis Grossman Daily Peel pads are the shizzzzz (and love that they come with a second pad for toning!)

I’m obsessed with SuperGOOP products and love stocking up on my favorite everyday staples during this Promo SALE!

I use this hand cream EVERYDAY! I have a big one at home and keep this smaller one in my car for my hands while driving

and I can’t wait to use this CC Cream (just ordered so please share if you’ve tried it! )

Products to Try

I haven’t tried these products yet, but they have really good reviews and are on my list. Let me know if you girls have tried!

Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask – I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this mask, dying to try!

Nurse Jaime Roller + Jade Roller – These are supposed to be amazing for puffiness and detoxing.

I always LOVEEEE hearing what beauty products you girl stock up on too so please share!!

  1. Sooo glad you posted about this sale! Was planning on stopping at Sephora today to stock up, but will wait a few days now ;). Please post more about the CC cream. I use a BB cream by tarte that I love, but am interested in trying a CC cream.

  2. LOVE Supergoop CC cream, I found myself reaching for it over foundation and now it’s the only thing I wear! I’m also obsessed with Dr. Jart’s Ceramidin cream. I actually tried Summer Fridays mask, put it on at night to sleep in, but wasn’t impressed. I like the Ceramidin cream overnight much better. IGK makes a dry shampoo called First Class and let me just say Holy volume! I’m a dark brunette but don’t have a problem with the white powder on this because it rubs in really well. I’ve got 3 little girls and also like to buy IGK’s Foamo for them. It is like a mousse that adds a little tint bit of holographic color and glitter but it’s not Halloweenish. Just fun occasionally and makes them feel like they’ve got a little something extra to their hair, they love it. Anyway I could probably go on bc I’m a huge beauty junkie myself but those were just a few things I stocked up on in the sale.

    1. OH no thank you for all the info! I always love finding new products! Good to know about the Summer Friday mask and SO excited you said that about the Supergoop CC cream!! Cant wait to get mine. Also I’ve never heard of IGK foam but sounds like Ava would love it! Can they still see the tint if the girls have brown hair like Avas? Thanks for sharing love. xo

      1. Yes, you can still see the color. All my girls are dark brunettes too. They have good pictures on sephora’s site. The more you put on the more you’ll see.

  3. Would love to hear your thoughts on Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask! Been dying to try it too because of all the amazing reviews. Also, what eyeliner do you use? Been looking for a good one for years and just haven’t been able to find one that I like. I’ve tried pencil and liquid and haven’t been thrilled with any of them. Thanks in advance!

    1. Hi babe yes dying to check it out too! As for liner I actually have used a drug store one! I’ve been using it for years and its seriously the best (but becoming harder and harder to track down) its the liquid liner by NYC.

      1. Awesome! Can’t wait to hear your review once you get the chance to try it out! I definitely will be on the look out for the NYC liquid liner! Thank you soooo much for your reply! Appreciate it! xx

  4. Great post! I’m dying to try the Hourglass setting powder.. I hear it’s even better the the Laura Mercier! Also dying to try the Hourglass scattered light eye shadow, the Mount Lai jade roller and the Huda beauty Demi matte lipstick.
And if you’re looking for a setting spray I recommend the Kopari coconut rose toner.. I’ve been using it as a primer and setting spray 🙂
