My Activewear Style Guide

I’m sure many of you did some damage like I did last night on Valentine’s Day. 😉 It was wine and chocolates overload for us so I thought today would be a great time to share a much requested activewear post. I don’t know about you girls, but new workout wear always motivates me to get my butt to the gym! I have a new wellness series in the works for you girls, and today, I wanted to start out with my Activewear Style guide sharing some fun workout pieces to help keep those New Year Resolutions on track!

I have a few styles that I always gravitate towards. I’m all about great fitting leggings, comfy hoodies, fresh sneaks and I LOVE a good crop top! I wear my crop tops paired with high-waist leggings and am obsessed with that combo. They’re flattering, on-trend and easy to workout in, too. Here are a few looks with some of my favorite pieces and I have a MAJOR round-up at the bottom of the post, too!

These High-Waist Leggings are HANDS DOWN my most worn pair ever! ($54!) Honestly you really can’t beat ZELLA products. I started wearing them a few years ago and the quality, fit and price are all on point.

I am obsessing over comfy hoodies this winter and Adidas and Nike Old School/ Originals are having a major moment right now. I love that I can throw them on and go and they they still look somewhat pulled together.

I also get asked about my workout sneakers often. I love my Thea’s and still wear them a ton but have to say my Nike Rosche are still my comfiest pair of gym sneaks to date!

ATHLEISURE

and last but not least, I’m still all about that athleisure LOVE! It’s just my go-to most of the week. Joggers, cute sneaks, comfy tee’s, sunnies and bomber jackets.

Hope this was helpful for you girls and stay tuned for next week’s post sharing my Meal Prep routine!

  1. Love ALL these styles! I tend to gravitate towards Alo, Carbon38, Lorna Jane, and sometimes Lululemon, but now you’ve potentially added to my brand list, haha.

  2. That’s so funny I was about to ask you about Lululemon and someone beat me to the punch! I bought the Live In Zella’s thanks to your recommendation and I LOVE them!! Then hubby went and bought me three pairs of Lululemon pants for Valentine’s Day and honestly all of the reviews for their quality are awful! I was wondering what you thought! But love this work out post and cute pony tail! You look fantastic mama!

    1. Lululemon is made in the same factory as the Costco brand workout wear (Kirkland). I’ve heard from several people that they are basically the same product.

  3. Ooh cant wait for your wellness series!! Would be great to see more of your workouts, what you eat in a day, healthy recipes you enjoy etc 🙂

  4. I LOVE Zella! I purchased a pair of leggings from Target and they have pockets. The quality compares to Zella! I’ve worn and washed them several times and they haven’t unraveled or stretched weird 🙂

PS I am loving all the adidas shoes… brings me back to middle school. lol

  5. Hi Andee,
Can you share your workout routine? I am full time working Mama of a 19 month crazy 😉 little boy and struggle for ideas to stay in shape. I would LOVE if you did more HoneyBee Health posts. They have given great ideas to stay on track myself all these years I have following. Your balanced approach is so refreshing. I see so many people go to extremes only for it to back fire. Please add more Health posts! 🙂

  6. What shoes do you have on in the majority of pictures above? They look like Adidas maybe? What’s them name of them? So cute!

  7. Where did you buy the red Adidas sweatshirt?! I literally cannot find that color anywhere! Only the satin shiny version which I’m not in love with
