We still aren’t into the pumpkin carving stage yet but I have to say pumpkin decorating this year was a HIT! I just picked up a few of the pumpkin decorating kits from target (with jewels, spikes and googly’ eyes) and the kids had a blast putting them together! (and for those of you asking on Instagram about our table and chairs.. It’s This One HERE. We’ve had since Ava was a bady and LOVE it!

Halloween calls for mommy’s “Spoooooky” pancakes.

I’m so excited that Ava is at an age where she is really into all these little festive treats I make for her ;))

I really wanted to switch up my mantel design from last year but I just love all my current pieces so much that I just ended up putting them up again. For those of you asking on instagram the Trick or Treat banner is from Target, The black skulls are actually candles from Target but I just never light them. The black crows are from Pottery Barn, The candle bras are from Michaels and the skeleton hand is from Roger’s Garden.

I seriously had the BEST Halloween this year because my hubby (aka MR. Bah HumBug) actually volunteered to dress up for his work Halloween party! We had way so much tequila  fun! 😉 …. So much fun that we didn’t get a good before pic but I  shared tons of snaps on SnapChat.

My little Butterfly Princess xo

I look forward to the days when we get to do the whole family themed costumes (and kudos to you mamas who put them together already!) but honestly with a very strong willed little girl and 20 mth old it’s just too much work at this point. Our meme sent the most adorable and detailed Elsa costume and Ava refused to wear it because it was too itchy. So she decided she wanted to be a butterfly and FYI the wings didn’t even make it out of the house. lol

  1. Great photos! October is my favorite and it just flew by this year! I’m not much into Halloween but we dressed up last minute for a party last weekend and had an absolute blast. Ps, LOVE your ring!

  2. What a festive Halloween! Why are little girls costumes always itchy? That is the one requirement my 4 year old daughter has, a non-itchy costume!

  3. That PB table is so cute. Considering it for my daughter. Ava still fits in it well? Hasn’t out grown it yet?
