Pineapple Jalapeño Skinny Margarita

I hope you ladies are enjoying the last couple days of Summer! I couldn’t think of a better excuse to make my Pineapple Jalapeño Skinny Margaritas! They are dangerously smooth and ever so tasty!

I take a bottle of clear tequila and pour it over a few cups of freshly cut pineapple. Then I seal the container and steep the tequila for 1 to 3 days. *You can also put your freshly cut jalapeño in there as well. I did that before and left it a little to long and ended up with super spicy margi’s. So now I just add them at the end for a little extra kick! After about 48 hours your tequila will taste much more smooth and pineapple like! Strain the tequila into a clean container and discard the pineapple.
To make a lower calorie margarita I put a a couple ounces of the pineapple infused tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, agave nectar and a couple pieces of jalapeño in a shaker with some ice. Its super simple just shake it up and serve!! (Its all to taste so just adjust your agave and lime juice to make it less or more sweet).
* To get the salted rim just take a lime wedge and run it around the rim the glass then place the glass upside down in a small plate of sea salt. Hope you girls enjoy them as much as I do!

    1. oh girl don't dump that gold! Alcohol will leave your system. If you only have one drink give your babe pre pumped milk and wait about three hours. Test your milk again after the three hours and it should be good to go! Jump pump or feed once the alcohol has cleared your system.

  1. Yummy! I definitely need to try this, I love spicy drinks! I bet if you froze that pineapple and blended it with some tequila and maybe some other tropical fruit you could make some kind of awesome slushie. 🙂

  2. I think you should just use pineapple juice next time because throwing those fresh pineapple slices is such a waste! (I'm saying this because I LOVE pineapple, and hate wasting food!) This recipe does look delicious though.
