When I became pregnant I quickly realized there are tons of no no’s when it comes to products! Here’s a link to webpage that really helped me when shopping for pregnancy friendly products/ingredients….

The belly band has been a great purchase for me so far! I havent been able to button my pants for almost two months! This inexpensive band helps keep them up and lets you continue to wear your normal jeans.

As for face wash i’ve been using good old fashioned Cetaphil (my dermatologist recommended it to me when I first found out I was pregnant) Its basic and safe! I also finally jumped on the MIA by clarasonic bandwagon! I LOVE this brush and have to say my skin feels super soft after I use it. When I get random break outs that wont go away, I put a little dab of Cortaid on it. It contains hydrocortisone which will dry that baby out. Also hear great things about Mario Badescu products (particularly the drying lotion)

Around 22 weeks I started having a bit of back pain and not sleeping as great. I saw this wedge pillow and am wondering if it will help? As for stretch marks I hear it’s mostly genetics but Im lathering up daily with creams anyway! I have been using Palmers coco butter (super cheap from Target) and its good! I’ve also heard great things about Mustela products and Bio Oil. I may be giving those a try when I run out of Palmers!

If you follow the Honeybee on FB you know I had my LOVELY glucose test this morning. My doctor gave me the Glucola drink on my last visit to take home. I drank it an hour before my appointment and when I showed up we went right in and they took blood. It honestly wasn’t bad at all! The orange drink was actually pretty tasty! (very sugary obviously).

On a side note I have to say shopping for my baby girl has been so fun! Were going to really start tackling the “to get list” next month and I cant wait to get everything organized! I would LOVE to hear what things you girls registered for or products that you liked!!

  1. All of the outfits you have now are adorable. And my sister had a terrible reaction to coco butter so she stopped using it…but no stretch marks! I heard it was genetics too, but it's better safe than sorry! haha

  2. I'm 33 weeks and have been using a body pillow this whole time. Helps..but back pain is awful. Don't fight it, if your uncomfy do what it takes to help. Even if that means laying in bed for a while.

  3. Aww, I spy a Missoni for Target onesie! I bought these adorable little socks for my friend's baby shower, I forget the exact name, but I blogged about them and also I bought them from Piperlime.

  4. Love the Clarisonic! I used Palmer's and plain old Vitamin E oil for my first pregnancy and managed to avoid stretch marks. I'm almost done my second pregnancy and have been using BioOil this time and also really like it! I use a little on my face too and it is amazing! I think I would def continue using it post-pregnancy!

  5. Great products. I believe they helped with my belly too. I would say for the registry, make sure you get a warmer, I don't know why people say its not essential! When its warm in the house and you go to change your 2 week old ands he starts crying cause the cold scared her, you'll want them. Get lots of burp clothes and thin towels. My daughter burped up just laying down so these were a must if we didn't want her drenched in her own you-know. The bigger the better! Also I'd say you don't really need a diaper bag. maybe for in the car to keep it organized, but are you really going to be using your bag AND a huge diaper bag? Just get a bigger purse and your set!! By the way, you are GORGEOUS!!!!

  6. Great outfits! Baby closet dividers are great to have to keep your baby girl clothes organized. They were a god sent… found them at babies r us. They also have them on etsy. I did a post on them a while back under "nursery". You're going to have to much fun preparing for your little girl~ congrats!

  7. Awww..the Missoni for Target baby clothes are so cute! I found a sweater dress and cardigan randomly one day, but since I have no kids, I gifted them to my goddaughter (the only baby girl I know). Hope she can fit into them. All the best on the rest of your pregnancy! My SIL had my nephew about 5 months ago..he's growing up so so so fast!! I'm so amazed every time I see him.

P/s: LOVE Clarisonic (: Been using mine for 2 years..I get really freaked when it runs out of battery sometimes and I don't get to use it.

  8. You're always so informative Andee! My sis is currently about to pop so I know how imperative prenatal care could be…I think every mama swears by that cocoa butter lotion right?? 😀

  9. I've heard that the king of butters body bar from Lush is amazing and perfect for avoiding stretch marks from pregnancy. If I ever decide to get pregnant that would be the first product on my list. 🙂

  10. thanks ladies! I love hearing what you girls use or have heard good things about! @MaviDeniz good to know love thanks! @Ava thanks ill def check it out!! @TamaraB thanks so much for the tips love! xoox

  11. I am 35 weeks pregnant with my first and just now bought a wedge…it has saved me! Up until now, I was using a body pillow. (I swear by the one I got at Target..it was around $10 and worked a lot better than the $50 "pregnancy body pillows" they carry at baby stores). Now with my stomach being HA-UGE, the wedge helps me not feel like my stomach is "pulling" – if that makes sense. I can't lay on my side without it! I have also been using Burt's Bees Mama Oil twice a day and have avoided stretch marks so far. Good luck! 🙂

  12. So much fun having a girl. I have two, 6 and 5 now but it is so much fun dressing them. Definitely get a wipe warmer like Tamarab mentioned. I also recommend the Cybex car seats. They are awesome. Unfortunately I didn't do enough research on them when my kids were born but they do use their booster seats. Worth the money for sure. Good Luck and most importantly enjoy your little princess because they grow up so fast!!!!!

  13. hi andee..i know this is a really random question. but i was wondering if you have any anti-cellulite tips? i've been a reader of yours for awhile! i've never seen you with a spot of any and was hoping you can share alittle insight. 🙂

  14. I have heard really great things about: "Cloud b Sleep Sheep Four Soothing Sounds From Nature" (I buy them from amazon) for when the baby comes- basically a stuffed animal that makes soothing sounds for the baby and makes it easier for baby to sleep soundly.

  15. The Fisher Price Rainforest Bouncer was a life saver! I just moved it from room to room with me as needed. Also, I don't know if you plan on swaddling, but I HIGHLY recommend it in the beginning. It simulates being in the womb and was sometimes the only way to get my little one to stop crying. So, a swaddle blanket+bouncer+pacifier= a happy baby and a VERY happy momma! Congrats!
